From my perspective (the only one I care about :neenerneener....... There are teams in Alpha that will beat HHWC this year and teams that can cockblock a 4peat without question. Also, there are plenty of quality teams that I plan to fight for a playoff spot with TKW. So I think Alpha is no pushover and I'm looking forward to this. Zeta took some of the heavy hitters from Alpha last season and I'll take a break from playing the Blaze and MPHD as we had to go through them last season. Besides putting both of our teams in the same conference, well done Bort.

Way too early to talk about which conference is better when the rosters are still complete and no one has seen the new sim yet. Based on last season's squads, Zeta is stronger, but that was last season.

Honestly, the teams I expect to be better than last season are also those Zeta teams like Hali, ESL, & Lincoln. In Alpha, South Otto is solid, SoCal always finds a way to be competitive, and Odessa opened some eyes last season, but Jebs & Alpine are the only teams in that conference who can legitimately test HHWC. In Zeta, one of the following teams cannot make the playoffs: Blaze, MPHD, Moose, Gurupies, Lincoln, Osaka, Hali, ESL, & Providence. The one who doesn't might have been a home seed in Alpha.

It's a pity hood didn't end up in Zeta. Their co-ordinators need that kind of challenge

I would feel good about D9's chances of sticking in Alpha, even as our #2 team this ssn. Hell, I feel decent about Carthage's chances as the 3 team there. That said, you expect to play the best in WL. When that's what you get, such is life. I think the PO teams from Alpha will most certainly be tough. Alpha just looks weak to me after you take what I suspect are the top 8 out (I see 8 teams in Alpha that I'm guessing would be very legit PO teams). Zeta appears to still have some p good strength left after you trim the top 8 (I see 12 teams in Zeta that I'm guessing would be very legit PO caliber teams). Making the champ game for anyone not named HHWC on either side will be a bitch, but just making the POs appears to be considerably harder in Zeta....Such is life and demotion in WL
