Doesn't mean much if it was a #12-16 seed, I haven't really gone through but glancing over some of the teams that will likely promote other than CPL i'm not too impressed
I think S19 was just an unusually strong class. MPHD, Navigators, Odessa (Surprise!), Moose Jaw all did very well, Nashville and Korb made playoffs - really good class. Hard to compare to this season and prior seasons are a distant memory.
Depending on the number of WL-quality teams it's possible to end up in a steady-state where odd seasons are stronger than even seasons, but I doubt the number of WL-quality teams will stay stable enough for that to ever really happen long term.
S19 was definitely the most loaded teams/confs we will see for awhile...mainly because this is the last season for the first generation of plateau players...going to be a lot of retirements and gutted teams this offseason. Incoming class of teams will be weak and I expect some of the remaining WL teams will take a step back in roster strength.
