WVWP won their silver league, spent something like 3 seasons in gold, then decided to be less competitive b/c the owner got a new job. They got demoted to silver and have been there the past few seasons.

So, yes, they got demoted after previously winning in silver. But they never won silver and then stayed in silver.

Yeah, but in S17 they won their conference and were promoted to gold, but sent a request to be sent back down

I'm pretty sure they weren't slated to go to gold that year. That was the crazy year when hardly (if any) body sold or demoted from gold so it was pretty much just the 8 winners (and maybe 1 other, but I'd have to look).

No no no, that was the year when EVERYBODY demoted from gold...thats why teams like MoM and Montpellier were promoted.

I think your correct...wasn't it the same season they pulled that Copper team because there was soo many vacancies?
Close to the time we asked for demotion S17...maybe it was S17 or end of S16 Gold got softer.

WVWP asked for a demotion from Gold, but we never asked again after the intitial demotion. For whatever reason, we were never promoted back...even after winning our conference in S17.
