i know you wouldnt want to sacrafice your WL team and a possible win, but in an obvious win/blowout, you can really direct points towards any guys you may have?

dunno, just sayin. in theory this is a top idea. its just with normal fantasy its played with players not controlled by the game players.

Next thing you know dpride's going to find a dying kid to make has last wish be to joebarber and datongw to please rig the OAI so that he can see his favorite dot in the world league score 10 touchdowns a week. It could happen.

This was done before, for quite a few seasons actually. It wasn't very much fun.

but there's a need for this post? I was just stating this isn't the first time this was done. It sounded like a good idea last time too, but it got boring pretty fast. Not sure why you're getting so defensive

This is a courtesy post to let you all know that we are investigating and discussing some ideas about how to deal with the obvious lack of respect that some people have for this game and the other people who play it. Going out of your way to collude and try and ruin the enjoyment of other users is not something that we want to see happening here, especially at the highest level of the game.

The options we are discussing to address any current or future issues include removal of trophies (awarding them to 2nd/3rd place) and forced team forfeiture.

I am also in the process of looking at updating the stats output for trophies to use an "adjusted" value that treats blowout stats as fractional values similar to how the MVP formula discounts blowout stats, as a possible more permanent all-in-one solution for all leagues.
