Seems a fair amount of evidence here. Only question is whether it ever works when 1st blocks, or if it ALWAYS fails. I'll leave it to the bug fixers to determine if this needs further testing, but I'm hoping what we have here is adequate.

SS is assigned to cover HB strong or TE or FB strong.

The HB and TE both stay in to block. The SS runs toward middle of the field until after the FB makes the catch and is running up field.

going to add this one as possibly part of same thing. Closed as probably not a bug in it's own thread because I couldn't find more examples.

Going to have to over rule here - unless we can get concrete proof that this is happening in the majority of instances of a defensive play call. Moving to non primary assignments require passing a vision check. It's not meant to be automatically available that a defender can choose to cover another offensive player if their primary assignment is blocking. They have to see and identify that this is happening. This is not an easy vision check to pass and as such it will often lead to either a delay in play recognition or moving to a different option. This is per Bort and as such it is working as intended.
