What about this idea...

Someone not involved in the playoffs will need to run the Pro Bowl. They will need to obtain two of at least cap-14 teams, but can be higher, doesn't matter. Just rename them East & West. Then the people responsible for the #1 offense and defense from each conference are invited to be the OC & DC for their respective conference. If the #1 refuses, then just ask the #2 and so on until someone accepts. These coordinators will be responsible for setting up their AI on the Pro-Bowl team and let the person running the Pro-Bowl how many of each position they need.

Now with the teams and the OC/DC set, you need to start inviting players. Based on what the coordinators tell you they need, the person running the Pro-Bowl will use the "League Leaders" stats to pick the top players at each position from each conference and send the owning agent a PM saying that their player is invited to be a part of the Pro-Bowl and that requires that they do not retire them until after the Pro-Bowl. The agent has to respond with either a yes or no. Once you have verbal commitments for all 110 players that will make up the Pro-Bowl teams, you would just sit and wait until the playoffs end. A reminder message on day 40 would probably be a good idea so agents don't accidentally retire their Pro-Bowl players.

Once the playoffs are done and all players have been released on day 41, the person who is running the Pro-Bowl will invite all the players to the Pro-Bowl teams on day 42. The coordinators should have already been invited and hopefully will have their AI's already setup. I would suggest making the Pro-Bowl for day 45 to give people time to get all their players onto the Pro-Bowl team and to take care of business on their new teams.

That's it. It's a lot of work for the person running the Pro-Bowl, so might be best of 2 people did this, one person per team. I would suggest this stays within the Gold community, and offer these spots to those Gold owners who finished at the 12th spot in each league as they could have access to see the AI's that are more successful. Just make sure that they come from the other conference, so the owner with the 12th spot in the West will run the East team, and visa versa. If the 12th spot person refuses, ask the 11th, then 10th, etc.

Thoughts?

The only thing different in Gerrs Idea is who coaches it. We already have to minor teams ready. Mine and Manogwars. We already said the game would be played around day 44. We already talked about if agents refused we would just take the next best players. One difference is I dont think you can go stats alone. Some teams use an abundant of players at one position. Maybe one stands out more and should get voted in. Also some teams might lean on one player too much if its all about stats.

I'm not sure why we would want 2 non playoff coaches to run it though. Wouldn't you want the 2nd best which would be the conference losing teams?

Considering the conference game is over on day 38, I would think so. I would be adding the players to the teams starting day 42 after the roster freeze. The players going to the all star game would already be decided by day 35. All the coaches have to do is get their game plans done between day 38 and day 45. Thats a week.

As long as my KR/PR makes it, I am all for it!

So safeties between the hash marks, no running game and no hitting QB's?

Yeah kind of died. Pee wee forum sucks for the most part. Died just like everything else. You get maybe a couple of active users if that. I'm pretty much done trying to get anything going for this league.
