Pure class. Lots of great people in this forum. Thanks for the kind words. We have a fun group of guys to be around--win or lose. 16-0 in the toughest conference in GLB is a huge accomplishment, but it's not THE goal. We know we can be knocked off at any point. We've all seen 16-0 teams get knocked off in the first round. If we are fortunate enough to win that first round match-up we likely have an incredible defending Zeta champ Alpine waiting for us and we had a close game last time. Carthage had their games with us stolen from them...TWICE, so if they beat Alpine they will REALLY be extra motivated for us. Hope the lack of a season promotion doesn't bite us in the ass when it counts the most.

Good season regardless, indy. The playoffs are just brutal in WL. Bort says it's the same sim but always some zany results. Semerang was always a great team though as evidenced by their 70point walloping of alpine so no shame in losing to them. I'm sure your offseason will be good so expect you guys to be a top 2-3 seed next season too

I could really care less about being a top 2-3 team. We would have won the WL two seasons ago had that end zone bug been fixed sooner. 16-0 is the same as 8th place to me. You know something is messed up when a game like this happens and it happens all the time in the playoffs. The last two seasons to us as the #1 seed.

The biggest difference was that we set up our special teams to not hemorrhage points this time.

The combination of 28 free points so that you could get conservative, the stamina crush on our defense, and the morale issues from giving those up was pretty huge in the first game.

I'll admit I didn't think we would beat you by 50 though...things got out of hand in the 4th. Our defense came up big with turnovers this time.

I'm one of the believers that it is the same sim, it's just you have 8 games to get a stupid sim game based on morale/ints/whatever, and the likelihood of a sim game is somewhere around 1/8 I'd say. Especially when such good teams go up against each other - an extreme is, unfortunately, bound to come out sooner or later, and it happens at least once or twice in the playoffs.

Not to take away from Indy, though, cause you guys have a great team. Better luck next year I guess
