No, what's funny is that you suggested changing your entire AI before the game to keep D9 out, the only possible scenario where D9 demotes...

Then, oddly enough, you play a gameplan full of terrible progressions that you haven't used before to ensure it happens...

Pretty much, you tried to cheat, but tried to cover your tracks with a bit of loophole action... Not the first time, so not really a surprise...

If anybody in the mod forum needs it, I'll prove the offensive changes.
