moose is 2-1 in the 8-8 tie breaker as well....wins over alpine and cincy, and loss to lincoln. This is way to confusing.

we're 9-4 in games where the DC didn't fuck up the AI.

yeah I give up on trying to figure it all out. Not that hard to figure out the scenarios, but just time consuming and I'm hungry.

I think in the:
Monowi loses
Moose Jaw wins
Lincoln wins
(Cinci + Alpine you're giving wins)
Scenario, you have 3 playoff spots left. Monowi gets 6th, 7th/8th/9th is MJ/Alpine/Lincoln and decided by points against.
MJ: 517
Alpine: 547
Lincoln: 617
Probably Lincoln still out, but you never know.
And I'm not ready to lock in Alpine as a winner anyways
I think this is the method of breaking ties:
Playoff Seeding Tiebreakers
(Updated for Season 13)
When two or more teams have the same regular season record, seeding comes down to the following tiebreakers.
To determine the winner of a tie within a Conference the following Tiebreakers go into effect:
1. If there are only 2 teams tied (same record), higher seed is the winner of the head-to-head match up.
2. If there are more than 2 teams tied (same record), then it's based upon these factor in this order:
1. Number of head-to-head wins against the other tied teams with the same record.
2. Number of total points allowed.
3. Number of total points scored.

so that's how you find the #1 team of that trio but how do you determine the #2? Is it still the points against rule or does it switch to a 2team tiebreaker so basically the head to head?
Also would be cool for bort to have little marks for teams who made the playoffs like an "x" for made playoff, "y" for homefield advantage and "z" for 1st overall. Actually why don't we have that? Seems pretty simple. Most every sports website in the world has it.

most sports don't have as retarded tie breakers though

Well it wouldn't take into account the points against thing but wouldn't be hard to account for head to head situations i wouldn't think. I mean, i don't think monowi could drop out regardless of the outcome of week 16 because of their head to head wins. I think technically carthage could find a way to miss the playoffs with an unlikely loss to the feebs and then the perfect storm of other teams winning/losing

it boggles me how some people can't understand tiebreakers.

if there is a 3 way tie and they all beat each other once then it goes to points against. (makes sense IMO) considering if #1 has least points against, and lost to the team with 2nd most points against, and that team lost to the 3rd most points against, the 2nd place team would be penalized for beating the 1st team instead of the 3rd. lol. w.e

I think if alpine wins, moosejaw wins, monowi loses, cincy loses and lincoln wins lincoln would be in. There are a lot of teams holding various tiebreakers.
ugh.
I approve.
