Yeah, there are 5 of us that have players on 2 accounts for the hitmen. Bort also said that chemistry is a very small portion of the game algorithm. That being said we are very fortunate to have the players we have.

I would also like to add that this league is loaded with excellent teams. I would be very surprised if anyone goes undefeated. I am thrilled we have won 2 very tough games against incredibly talented teams, but I will feel fortunate if we can go 12-4 in the regular season. Season should be a blast!

The class of the SEC is UGA and then a close second UF. The rest are not contending for anything. Bama needs 2 more recruiting classes before they can be considered a good football team. I think USC is a surprise team this year that could finish in the top 15. LSU has talent returning but no identity- don't count on them to contend.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!
hatch was on the roster last year and lee is an absolute stud. LSU will be a run first team. the best back on the team is still there in williams then scott. Hester started because he was a senior and he was consistent, but the best talent was behind him. dont bother counting trendon holliday, one of the fastest guys in AMERICA!!! Doucet barely played at all last season and did not look nearly as good as demetrius byrd, lefell or tolliver, not to mention jared mitchell. yeah LSU lost dorsey but the LSU dline is insane. Look past what dorsey did and look at the depth and you will realize how strong the unit is. francois will dominate as will alexander (already being called a 1st rd pick). jai eugene and philon jones looked impressive all year and the Safety position is the best in the SEC.

now to Bammer...
you are correct, most of those players from this years class will not see the field, but he had a chance to recruit a full class last year and had a great class this year. he will put HIS guys in position to contribute this season as he did at MSU and LSU.

LSU has shown they reload not rebuild and this season will be no different. they will fend off bammer, arkansas, and auburn for the West title and face UGA in the title game for what will appear to be a spot in the BCS title game.

their identity is in the backfield. they have not one, but 4 starters rotating time...
the offensive line has 2 first round picks on it and the Wrs are deep, very deep...

I stood in line for an hour to eat at Wo Hop. The dumplings were worth it. Looking forward to the game, Manhattan.

Oh...and THAT isnt a stacked lineup...you wanna see one of those...take a look over yonder at the Atlanta Hitmen...now THATS a stacked lineup.

You can say that again! And damn, look 100 chemistry too!!

100% is not hard to do when it's five friend who play. I think teams how has recruited and signed players and have close to 100 is more impressive.

um, 5 friends? there are 2 owners...

Yeah, this is what I was referring to "No, I am saying the opposite. We have 5 people that run our team via 2 accounts." - posted by ccgarland http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=342887&page=4 - So not to take anything away from them, there team is a power house, but having 100% Chem with only five players on two account is nothing.

Oh, by the way, I know about all of that. My comment was a tongue-in-cheek jab, which I'm sure they've heard many times before I do have to say that I think there should be a separate league for teams like this. Not to take away from their impressive roster, but I think recruiting and team management, like getting all your personalities on the same page with tactics, builds, boosting, and equipment as well as hoping they all stay active and re-sign is what makes building a contender so tough. When you and your close friends (obviously close if they're sharing accounts) stack a team with your players, you have a significant advantage over teams that have toiled for their success.

The backfield has no qb. You can have the best WR corp in the world but you need someone to pass the ball. LSU might will still win because of talent, but they will not contend. They lost 2 last year with a much better team than this squad.

their backfield does in fact have a QB and this year's team has more talent...
the Line and LBers are better than they were last year as is the Oline, RBs, Safeties, and WRs.

the QB position is responsible for 20 passes max this year. hatch and lee are both capable of doing this plus. LSU will do more than contend my friend...

Points well taken there and you are right in a way. We still have to maintain our players just like everyone else. In 8 seasons we will be at a severe disadvantage as our players get older unless we want to shell out even more cash to develop new players. We lack diversity in builds that most owners get to observe as all our players are built to a set standard with little variation and minor experimentation. As Bort changes game mechanics we will be stuck with the builds we are invested in. The old saying about many hands make light work applies to game planning and training in GLB. I personally spend about an hour per day scouting and training which is more spare time than I actually have.

Next year we plan to take a few more people in with us to help with the work and brain power; mostly other family members and some friends from work to add fresh ideas and younger players to the mix. Our most important goal was to learn how the game works and work with every position and build the stadium to support good FA's. We are off to a good start as far as the stadium, but we are still learning the game. We do understand that we can not be a "one man show" for very long. I promise those that do will lose out to the teams with farm systems and who are networked into alliances.
