I'm sure there's a ton of different metrics for determining a state's intelligence. Just because your state is deemed smarter in one study, doesn't mean it's the end all be all study. Not to mention, it does not make you as an individual any more or less smart. Although, let's take Det Lions Fan1 who is quite likely is a resident of Michigan. That's one guy who brings the entire state's average intelligence down pretty substantially. Fortunately for Michigan, according to your team, he has since "moved" to Alice Springs, so the 2008 IQ numbers will probably bounce back.

But who cares about just raw IQ? I personally believe it boils down to is what state would a neutral person rather live. Correct or not, most people think of Arkansas as some bass-ackward, 1st cousin marrying hick-town. I can tell you that while I really don't want to go to Michigan, I know I'm not alone when I say that would never want to live in Arkansas.

some of you guys are getting way out of hand with the name-calling, and you know who I'm talking about. I'm 20 years old, probably half the age of some of you, and mature enough not to continue spouting off insulting names constantly (other than the 2, that was a FREAKING JOKE). By the way, you have no right to tell me not to come back to anywhere public, so get over it. You also have no right to call anyone you've never met in your life a liar.
