I think jrock took offense to my thread topic of how the new change will affect WL next season....now back on topic.

Here is how it will change we beat your ass 3 levels lower and we will do it again with equal levels.

Actually I will tell u what how about we don't boost but if we beat you again(which we will) then you do us all a favor and quit the game...what do ya say Stouty poo??

Even if we didn't know about free eq back then, everyone wanted the most possible lvls gained for more sp to make better players. Can't understand why this was a necessary change.

Easy to explain, until S9 when the decline was discussed and added, no one knew what the cut off date would be so punishing people for building before Bort decided on a set build date is kind of stupid. That's where it all originated, it's not really fair to punish people because they guessed wrong on what day Bort would cut off at. Also, no one knew that they could get L72 eq.(no team could afford it back then) so again, they assumed they couldn't. When all these changes were made, it made L72 eq. possible and L72 eq. makes a huge difference.

the only problem i see with this is the benefit to SSBers who SSBed 1 season and boosted to end that season. Tautology has 7 of them, how many more are out there?

If you SSBed > 1 season or didnt boost your first season you would miss level 69 and the benefit of this added boost. So most SSBers did not build the way taut did but my concern is that a decent amount did and they will likely be the best WL dots. Nobody knows how many dots SSBed that way

So much pride over a 1 point reg season win, how lame.

This. It's inexplicable that they are doing this imo.

If they really feel bad about the equipment thing, then just allow the affected players to get level 72 equipment without actually being level 72, imo.

Also, failing to get max XP and starting on the wrong date only costs you so much--certainly not 3 levels. If you created on like day 33 then lolu. Makes more sense for the cutoff to be level 70 or level 71 imo. Personally I think that if you lost out on a lot of XP, then it's your coordinator's fault, not the game's.

lol this. And lol @ people arguing this level 72 equips weren't affordable bullshit, Saigon would have had enough for at least our AE's and besides that, who wouldn't want to gain as many levels as possible. Even without being able to afford level 72 equips, I'd rather be level 72 with 64's than a level 68....

No kidding. My newest dot was made, had a build plan, including not bothering to reach lvl 72 as there was no way my OT was getting bought L72 EQ. Then next season, archetypes came, build plan out the window as I had to select one. Remake build plan. Then this season, training changes and EQ changes. Build plan out the window AGAIN, and whoops not hitting lvl 72 sucks balls. Now dots are going to be able to boost to 72, hooray! But, wait, that cuts off at season 22, and I won't be 440 until season 25.

I'll take my reparations in the form of Rice Krispy Treats, please.
