Steve, I was just going back through the forums and reading all the stuff from Seasons 8, 9, and 10. Those were the good old days in APL.

Yeah they were! We basically all battled each other before even making it to the APL and the rivalries continued cause everyone was sticking with it. Forums were great because we all liked one another (or at least had respect)... Then teams started slowly breaking up cause playing the game was basically a second job.

#2 Zambezi vs #8 Somali and #3 Sahara vs #9 Rwanda for wk 16. We are Somali's best friend for this week. GL Husker and Somali. Rwanda beat Zambezi who beat us though.

We play D9 in the RT tournament 4 hrs before our Rwanda game. Who do our coordinators gp for? It will not happen for both.

I am truly going on vacation for the weekend. Enjoy the games everyone and have a safe and fun weekend.

If we can pull off back-to-back shockers and pull out a playoff appearance in our farewell season, it would be awesome. But I am afraid we may have used up all of our luck against Zambezi.

thanks RR, but if we dont get in the playoffs it is our own fault. We have lost a few games that should've been ours.

So if we happen to lose and Rwanda wins (and gets that 8th seed), we have only ourselves to blame.

We just weren't able to get it going at the Pro level. All we could do was be a thorn in the side of the bigger dogs from time to time.

I know I'm a page behind, but I want to address the Elephant / LOLion debate.

Since Rhodesia has been up here, Elephant has been the superior conference, by far. (The gap has lessened this season, but it's still a gap)

Now, while Elephant is MUCH deeper than LOLion, the best team in the league (IMO of course) is in LOLion. D9 is the best. Clash is 2nd. Again, that's just IMO, and you could easily swap those 2.

The difference is that the Clash had to fight through 5 or 6 very high quality opponents to get where they are. D9 had to fight through like, 1. Maybe 2.

I'll tell ya what, scout CWE once. They are our "lowly" #4 seed, but I think they'd be right in the mix for home field in Ele too. I think they are every bit as dangerous as any team here, in either conference. If Sahara's scrims are any indication, they'd be right in the thick of it too. Zambezi hasn't played a bunch or tourneys this ssn, so hard to tell...And if the Redhorns could just play the 2nd half of ssn twice, they'd likely win or take 2nd at worse in any PL conference in GLB

I do think Ele is deeper than Lion, but not by as much as you guys like to think. No BS, I am every bit as nervous about the POs in Lion as I would be if I with the #1 seed playing in Ele.

CWE has some breakout potential and can get hot with a couple good sim rolls. We put up 530 yards of offense vs Valhalla. If the d gets a couple key ints, we have a shot at anyone. But I don't see us getting past D9 in the 2nd round..

what in gods name is going on with the sim??????????????
