thanks for the support. i have a lot more invested since I committed my QB, created a couple of other needed positions for the team.

i've been fortunate to be on a couple of teams that were already good and the current team my other players are on are built w/ a group of friends so it makes life a bit easier.

i wanted a challenge and i'm sure getting one.

I've been there man... we won like 1 game in season 1, and started 0-5 in season 2. We managed to win 6 in season 2 and we're building off of it now. If you're patient and look for the players that fit your team, it'll all work out. It's better than rushing to sign a bunch of greedy, selfish folks who don't help scout.

I think Bort should take really bad teams and put them into a league of their own and not allow high level players to join without significant xp penalty, and he should take the teams that are head and shoulders above their leagues and put them into a league. This idea of two teams advancing every season doesn't bring parity because someone always guts their team and moves to the BBB level or newly created league to feel uber about themselves.

I strongly dissagree. Even the NFL has the Miami Dolphins. This system of advancement will work out fine. caviate being folks stop gutting teams above us.

The difference is that the Miami Dolphins don't pay for the entertainment value of being the league doormat. They get paid millions of dollars apiece to be the league doormat.

The problem will be the size of the gap you've got to close. Making up ground on the rest of these teams that have a 2+ level advantage over us is tough enough, I can only imagine the struggles when you're down 10+ levels.

Not to pile on or add any insult, but you can probably rest assured that the team will be relegated next season and you'll have a better chance in the BBB. As tough as it is sometimes moving down has its advantages when you're struggling, and some of the changes Bort is considering will help even the playing field to get you back on your feet.

Good luck to you man....if you get some guys that are committed to player building and game planning you can turn it around.

Like how? Keep a team to under 200 points?
Damn! Rodney King didn't get a beating this bad!

Just because you pay to play doesn't mean you get to be good. there are multiple ways to play. and this teams way is to figure out how to bring a team out of the gutter.

There is a little logic to this though. As crazy as it might seem, there is. I think bort made a change to where you got more XP for playing higher level teams, so if you that much lower you can get a ton of xp a game.

I never heard there would be an XP bonus. There will be an XP penalty if you are too good never an XP bonus.
