Why yes, i think you are correct, unless they are just pretending to be weak so they can surprise everyone at the end of the season

you mean before or after they fail to get to the playoffs ??

We're having some issues early on this season but don't think it'll stay this way the whole time.

Alpha:

Bow Street is still on the top after yet another massacre.
Offcourse as it was the new team Belgrade, it was expected.

Frankfurt is still holding second after defeating Lyon.
After a strong first half, they got tired and almost gave away their lead.
But they put the final nail in the coffin with a last minute TD.
Lyon has now fallen out of the playoffs on a 10th.

The only surprise in alpha conference came when Sweden upset Belfast.
While Belfast had the ball more and did most yards, they just couldn't get through Swedens defense, especially when they were in the redzone.
Sweden also struggled offensivly, but they got two chances in the redzone and used them both well, before they managed to hold off Belfast to a win.
Sweden is still on 3rd while Belfast is hanging onto the playoffs with an 8th.

Glasgow is moving up to 4th after their defense stopped Cork City from scoring any TD, defeating them more easily than what IKK FU did last round.

IKK FU had as expected an hard time against Spaniards.
An early TD was all that seperated the teams as after that it was a close game.
IKK FU fell down to 5th while Spaniards is in 12th after 3 games against strong opponents.

After a couple of weak games barely winning, Marseille showed what they were good for, controlling the game and never letting Reykjavik get a chance.
Marseille is the last undefeated team on a 6th place.

Limerick is on 7th after a massacre of Clydesdale.

Lastly Port St Lucie had no problems against Larryville, however the victory only brings them up to 11th.

Zeta:

Buffalo and Kilkenny met in the conference topgame where Buffalo was controlling most of the game.
However in the 4th quarter they got tired, and Kilkenny didn't have to be asked twice.
Unfortunatly for them it was to little time left, and Buffalo could just let the clock run out for a close victory.
Buffalo still leads the conference, while Kilkenny dropped down to 6th

Berlin is still second after they slaughtered Vikings

Rome met Fighting Irish which i said i couldn't see how the Fighting Irish would win.
Unfortunatly for them, neither could they.
Cause Rome controlled the entire game and their lead was never threathened.
Rome is 3rd while Fighting Irish finds themself on 12th, but will come stronger back later in the season i'm sure.
note that Rome is the last of the undefeated teams in Zeta.

London moves up to 4th after an easy win over Leeds.

Tranmere not surprisingly massacres P-Ville and holds 5th

BC have no problems against reading and is back on the playoff spot with a 7th.

I know the Vatican is pissed at me for saying they are weak, but after their game against Shamrocks what else can you say? They are the word that is the opposite of strong, which can not be said cause apparently the truth is disrespectful?
Anyway it was a defensive game where neither scored a TD.
But Shamrocks controlled the game more and managed to make ome FG, while Vatican didn't manage to score any points at all.
Shamrocks is now definetly in the playoff fight with an 8th, while Vatican is in trouble, though far from out on a 10th

Drunken almost screwed up against Munich as after losing their lead in the first quarter, had huge problems getting through Munichs defense.
With only 2 minutes left, they took the lead which Munich didn't have time to take back.
Drunken fell down to 9th, while Munich holds 11th.

Next round

Alpha:
Bow Street - Frankfurt (The two leaders meet, but i think Frankfurt is way to good for us)
Sweden - Port St Lucie (Sweden takes this one)
Glasgow- Spaniards (Hard to say, will be very close as both teams can win)
IKK FU - Reykjavik (IKK FU is just to good for Reykjavik i'm afraid)
Marseille - Lyon (Vive la France, Marseille is favourites as they won last time, but i'm sure Lyon is just itching for a revolution here)
Limerick - Belfast (Belfast has dissapointed so far, ubt this one they really should win)
Clydesdale - Belgrade (Belgrade is better)
Cork City - Larryville (The two bottom team meets, but Cork City wins as they don't belong there.)

Zeta:
Buffalo - Shamrock (I don't see Shamrocks underhanded tactics work again Buffalo is to strong and will win)
Berlin - Tranmere (Berlin should win, but Tranmere is far from chanceless)
Rome - Munich (Easy game for Rome)
London - Reading (Massacre for London on the way)
Kilkenny - BC (Kilkenny been scarily good so far and will take this)
Drunkin - P-Ville (Even though they are drunk, they will still win)
Vatican - Vikings (The Vatican might be weak this season, but i doubt they mess this one up....wait didn't i say that allready? )
Fighting Irish - Leeds (Irish victory here)

Are you serious?!! The way we have been playing on Offense, we will be lucky if we don't get a big fat 0 in the scoring column!

Is that the same offense that has put more points in a single game than anyone else in Alpha so far this season?
