wanna scrimmage SSM now? or are you going to take your sorry ass back down to AAA afraid of to play us for a second straight season?

[Ostrich Diary] Season 15, Day -5

Today is the 3rd day, I am still too afraid to play SSM. I am the biggest ostrich here and like to hide my head in the sand when people challenge me. I don't beat on the bush, I beat around it.

As far as Talisker goes I prefer the 10 to the 18, and I agree with you that usually I like some thing a bit more smokey than the Glenlivet, but the 15 year French Oak is pretty solid and a little better than the rest.

I can tell you this the Highland Park 18 is amazing for the price. I like it better than the 25 myself.

Might have to try the Talisker again. Just last few times I have had it not been one I liked as well. Also like the Glenfiddich Cask Strength. That has that nice smokey note with the heavier peat flavoring.

+1 to Glenfiddich Cask Strength & Highland Park 18.

I love smokey/peaty single malts. My fav right now (Lagavulin 16):

I also like Laphroaig, although not nearly as much as Lagavulin, but the price is right...

Laphroaig is sexy for the price...one of the best values out there

I opened up a Macallan Cask Strength the other day and it was amazing...bit strong on the first sip (59.7 abv) but you really get used to it.

it is really good. i buy it here and there, though i have a friend who always has a bottle on hand.

i just feel it is not fair to all the hard workers at the single malt scotch distillery's if i don't rotate my selections and taste them all.
