16x3 is only 48. If we want a 1st/2nd team for each conference thats only 44 right there, not to mention some guys that get honorable mention. I think 5 is a good number for a team owner to submit, otherwise its guaranteed the 3 they submit will get something.

How about the top half of each conference gets 6 nominations, the bottom half gets 4?

Here is an example of what I want each team's nomination ballot to look like. It needs to include a little snippet of their stats compared to the rest of the conference/league.

This is copied from my teams forum where we are going to discuss:

I want us to discuss this so we are sure we are sending the correct nominees that are actually going to get picked for something. Right now, here are some I'm looking hard at.

Oliver Welch (C)-Most pancakes in Alpha conference by a center. Third most pancakes in the whole league overall.

Michael Netherland (OG)-3rd most pancakes in Alpha conference by a Guard. Sixth most pancakes in whole league overall.

Mario Stokes (HB)-Most rushing TDs scored in whole league, 2nd most rushing yards in whole league so far. 0 fumbles

Mick Jenkins (FS)-Most interceptions by a Free Safety in the whole league. Also has 3 forced fumbles and 2 pass deflections. Most tackles in the League for a Free Safety, 12th overall in the league in tackles. Only one missed tackle.

I'm pretty sure as of right now, those four are our best performers statistically speaking compared to the rest of the league.

Here are a few more names I'm throwing out there from our team that I would love to see get a spot on the all-conf teams too:

Michael Lavender (TE)-2nd on our team in receptions and receiving yards. (1st is a CPU player). 2 TDs, 0 Drops, and 7 pancakes also! 2nd most receiving yards by a TE in Alpha conference, 5th in receiving yards in our entire league.

Xaq Attack (SS)-3rd in the conference in tackles among Strong Safetys, 4th in league overall. Has better pass defending stats than the 3 Strong Safeties who are ahead of him in tackling stats (5 PD, 1 INT for TD!). Only 2 missed tackles

Also since I am in Alpha conference, I was wondering if there was any Zeta owner that would like to organize for Zeta?

This all sounds good to me also. What if everybody elects five players from their team (who only other teams can vote on) so there is a form of ballot which will make it easier for selecting.

I also think the vote should be after week 10 (not like anyone but our punter is getting in anyway).

I still kinda think the top teams of the conference should get more nominees, and the lower ones get less.

our QB would have to be at the top of the QB nominees right now...has been leading the league in passing yds and 1 or 2nd in passing TD's all season...im thinking next game might be when he finally drops to number 2 on passing yds tho...idk tho...

I think we need to wait for the conclusion of the regular season before voting on this team. I was looking at the power rankings and realized how much strength of schedule has to do with statistics, so it would be unfair to vote on this before all games are done. For example, Real Macouts has had the easiest schedule so far and that is why all their linemen are on the top stats list for pancakes

yea, i know what you mean...we've had 2 easy games already...so we've only won 1 that was actually a hard game...so yea...my GM was throwing a bunch of stats at me last night...we have the best TD:INT differential at 17:3...
