We had a bad map. Our ladies were all like "Stop the blimp! Just ask for directions" and we were like "Stop what? It is called a dirigible womens!"

Yea. When we got the team we were horrible as we got the team about half way through the season and it only had CPU players. Since we couldn't win, we just made sure everybody knew that their time was coming.

Actually, I don't think we spend much time talking about other teams. We are really self-absorbed, so most of our "discussion" is about trying to clarify how awesome we are.

Then other people take cheap shots, which sort of harshes our vibe, which is very uncool.

I used to do league rankings, game matchup and predictions, Probowl squads and interviews for two different leagues. . Not to mention yeah i did post a bit more than I do now. I post more regularly than a lot of folks on here now. However in GLBs current state that is not hard. I really miss the days when the forums were hard to keep up with if you were gone for 5or 6 hours. Now you can log out for 2 days and only have to read like 15 posts and you are right back up to speed.

I would likely resume some of that stuff if the forum activity made it worth it. I think Bort took away the carrot that kept folks active with the league shifts and reorgs, not to mention all the suspect sim changes. (newer sim changes of the last season or two are worthy)

I agree. I know some of it was unlucky. We had a squad that would have been competitive in pro for the past bunch of seasons.

But after 4 seasons when you *should* have been promoted, unlucky starts to stretch a little thin. Especially when almost the same thing happened in AA before we got out.

We know who we are. It doesn't bother us if your dot ball team is better than we are. We have a good time here.

SOmehow I don't think we are on quite the same page but hell I will offer you a beer anyway...... drink enough maybe even an ugly goat.

Season 12 was kind of the worst season for us. We play in the Elephant title game and lose a close one to a pretty stellar team we had lost to in the regular season. However there were 2 Africa WPL teams that both got demoted. So it kept the amount of AAA teams coming up to the league champs and I think 1 other. I agree we should have gotten our buts up here sooner just never went our way call it bad luck or hell just not a good enough team and planning combo whatever you want in the end we are finally here for good or ill.....

I have been with MaRAWK!!0 since season 3 (back when we were the Morocco Flames). Did not win our first game until season 4. We had our first winning season in season 5. So we know about losing..... know about frustration of trying to get here... now we are just happy to be here and plan on making life interesting for all the other dot ball teams around. If nothing else we will try to be entertaining.

Buddyhorn knows us well..... ya know I miss some icons of AA3 like D3 and FredEx..... legendary posting wars. Buddy was quite the legend too. Some quality stuff back then. Enjoyed trying to keep up. Most of the posts now are kind of low key or just angry in tense I think some people forget that this is just a game and take it entirely to seriously. Enjoy yourself enjoy the wins, the losses, and the game. Now that I have been entirely to verbose and posting while sober I should at least attempt to redeem myself.

RJD will be making his first appearance in Africa Pro to rock the faces off the teams and intimidate you with some hair raising classic metal. Also we shall be prematurely sacrificing some couches while our rabid fans smile their toothless smiles sporting black and blue carved wooden dentures. These fans will heard their goats to your stadiums when we play and in classic MaRAWK!!in tailgating style will begin enjoying shall we say the more carnal pleasures known to these goat herders. If that does not scare you out of your jock straps then perhaps our naked pre game drills will at least make you laugh at our lack of masculinity so much that you cannot recover until the 3rd quarter and by that time we will have at least scored a field goal.

marawko is my second favorite team in GLB and i gm for three teams and they aren't one of them.

for those of you that don't get the rawk, you need to go to their after parties. oh and their pregame parties. the in game parties are pretty good also. i think that has had as much to their long time in AAA. the players don't even know they won or lost until the hangovers wear off. a couple of them don't sober up and even leave the stadium until the off-season.

though their players with their in-game goat sex can be a little off-putting, they do know how to bbq ribs and have killer hot wings. you think the coaches just give them gatorade like normal teams, but the Rawk is just a different bunch dudes.

i really don't want to know if the ribs or hamburgers comes from their older washed up goats, but it is free, the beer is cold and the music is quite catchy, though very self absorbed.

early on there were more guys in it just to have fun. but over time the ass-hats came in and made posting a pain in the ace. it seems, at least at pro level, everyone has the game in perspective.

the most ironic thing about it is the guys who make the most bonehead ridiculous boasting are not the guys who game plan or really have power on their own team.
