Since I have know Steve he really does not do the whole challenge thing. I understand why he does not and his record shows it. No need to add extra work onto your OC and DC.

Total bs. It's ONE game for heaven's sake. It's not like Lion conference is full of juggernauts that WWR has to gameplan for on a daily basis anyway. If you want to have some pride in APL like WWR (Steve) keeps crowing about, then as the BEST team in the league it's your duty to step up in these things, end of story. Now if you're afraid of playing the top teams from other leagues, well, that's a whole 'nother story. The excuse about not wanting to give any secrets away is also bs (just in case someone was going to throw that out there), as you can always make it a private scrim if that's your concern.

Simple answer is that I'm not interested... A more in depth answer is that my guys coordinate more then one team, so if they don't want to pick up an extra game the least I can do is say OK. As long as my guys are having fun, the Rhinos will have longevity...

I don't want to be some guy that has to drop his team down to lower leagues to regroup and then troll the pro forum they used to once own... like someone I know (Hokie). "End of story."

+1 Frankly I could care less about winning some meaningless scrimmage. GL Africa, I'm rooting for you guys, but I'm glad Steve puts his team and his coordinators first.

He knows that I have my eye on that office, so he's trying to stay on Steve's good side

That's why on OFG the last couple of seasons we had 2-3 of us rotating games as the DC to help keep people from burning out. It honestly helped me to regain some desire to coordinate after getting burnt out with Seychelles.

That was what was happening with me. Getting burned out doing the D and the O. I had to step back and just concentrate on the D. Coordinators are hard to find, and good Coordinators are definitely a rarity in GLB. I find myself looking forward to the offseason sometimes!

That's why you don't GP for them. Hell, I've only GPed for 1 scrim this ssn, and that was the Mastermind game and even that was only on O, the D remained the same. The only reason I GPed against them on O was because they are supposed to be the best pro team in the game and I wanted to see what I could do against them. If you "care less about winning some meaningless scrimmage," which I believe is ultimately true for the majority of the teams in both leagues, why give I shit if you lose? Seriously.

Believe me. I understand. I got the speech more than enough....Don't play any scrims unless you're sure you'll win (and even those you better have something to gain) because you want to spread fear, intimidation & create an "image" of invincibility, as well as not risk showing future opponents the weaknesses of your team. They're legit reasons. Well, OK, the fear, intimidation & invincibility are ridiculous, IMO, but the weaknesses part is legit. You're trying to gain a competitive edge, and there's nothing wrong with that....Just don't BS about it, pls.

It may not mean much to any of you, but I respect you guys and love the fact that you're our top rival
You are a hell of a DC
Tricon is a damn good OC
Sledge is very good at evaluating dots
StiffArm somehow manages the personalities, something I failed at
The team of dots you've all put together is damn solid

I really like respecting my rivals (and, for what little it's worth, you guys honestly have mine...I'm just messing around with 99.99999% of the posts about WWR because it amuses me to do so). I know it most likely means nothing to any of you guys either way, but it makes it harder to respect you when deal in quarter truths...Shit, just tell them it's none of their business. At least that's 100% true.

There are no quarter truths with me... I posted my reasoning.

It is true, it is no ones business how I run my team.
I just don't mind chatting a little bit cause I do truly like a lot of the owners and dot agents in the APL.

GL to everyone participating in these scrims, I'm routing for you guys!
