WEEK 8 RANKINGS

The Fine Four
1 Somali Pirates (8-0) - Pirates jumped out early against the Crocs and never looked back. Next game: Algeria

2 Nairobi Death Squad (7-1) - Took an early 14 point lead in the 1st Q that proved to be the difference in the game. Next week: Alexandria

3 Cybertron War Machine (6-2) - A solid win over the Bandits keeps Cybertron at #3. Next game: Saskatoon

4 Sterling Bulldawgs (6-2) - A decisive win over Burundi keeps the Dawgs where they are this week. Next week: Fulham

Middle of the Road
5 Alexandria Crimson Evil Aces (6-2) - Bye week win over the Rage won't push them up in the rankings. Big matchup with Nairobi this week though. Next game: Nairobi

6 Nile Crocodiles (4-4) - Not much of a showing against the Pirates but then again not many teams have put up a fight against them this season. They should bounce back next week and they're also entering a soft schedule with what could turn into a 4-5 game win streak. Next game: Carolina

7 Fulham Flying Hellfish (4-4) - They hung in there against Nairobi and put up more of a fight than I expected to see. With a tough stretch of game in the coming 4 weeks they need to step it up even further though. Next game: Sterling

8 West Yorkshire Bandits (4-3) - Bandits fall short against Cybertron but have an easy win coming up next week. Next game: LHC

9 BURUNDI BUCSH WARRIORS (4-4) - A tough loss against Sterling won't change anything in the standings since everyone else lost too. Next game: Sterling

10 Algeria Dune Hoppers (3-5) - Defense came up big for the Dune Hoppers as they held the Hippos without an offensive TD. The Pirates are up next but after that they have a shot at winning 6 of the last 8. Next game: Somali

11 Hungry Hungry Hippos (4-4) - If not for their defense the Hippos didn't score a single offensive TD. They've got an easy game coming up next week but after that they hit one of the roughest 5 game stretches on anyones schedule that could spoil their playoff hopes for the season. Next game: West Coast

12 Carolina Flying Tigers (3-5) - Shutout victory over LHC won't make for much movement in the rankings. Next game: Nile

Bottom Four
13 West Nile Mosquitos (1-7) - First win of the season. Be a few weeks before win #2 gets notched up. Next game: Burundi

14 West Coast Rage (1-7) - Another shutout loss. Next game: Hungry

15 LHC Naked Turtles (0-8) - Another shutout loss. Next game: West Yorkshire

16 Saskatoon Vulcanos (0-8) - Another loss. Next game: Cybertron

WEEK 9 RANKINGS

The Fine Four
1 Somali Pirates (9-0) - The Pirates ran wild on Algeria as their HBs piled up over 450 rushing yards on their way to a 79-9 victory. Next game: West Coast

2 Nairobi Death Squad (7-2) - A very tough game against Alexandria that saw Nairobi only put up 3 points in a 3-13 loss. Having beaten Cybertron and Sterling already though I can't knock them down in the rankings. They still have a highly favorable second half schedule that should keep them in the top 4 for the rest of the season. Next week: Hungry

3 Cybertron War Machine (7-2) - An easy win keeps Cybertron moving along through an easy stretch of games. Next game: BURUNDI

4 Alexandria Crimson Evil Aces (7-2) - Big win over Nairobi this week vaults the Aces up the rankings. With the Bulldawgs and Pirates the only top teams left on their schedule they can make a run at the 2 seed. Next game: Fulham

Middle of the Road
5 Sterling Bulldawgs (7-2) - A decisive win over Fulham proved that Sterling was more than a middle of the pack team but Alexandrias win over Nairobi pushes them out of the Fine Four. Next week: West Nile

6 Nile Crocodiles (5-4) - An easy win over Carolina will keep them in place for now. They can easily go 4-0 in the next 4 weeks. Next game: West Yorkshire

7 West Yorkshire Bandits (5-4) - An easy win moves them up the rankings slightly. Much tougher competition this week though. Next game: Nile

8 Fulham Flying Hellfish (4-5) - A big setback against Sterling and with Alexandria and Somali coming up the next 3 weeks they could be looking at a 5-7 record going in to the final stretch of games. Next game: Alexandria

9 BURUNDI BUCSH WARRIORS (5-4) - They made quick work of West Nile but they'll need to do more than that to get over Cybertron this week. Next game: Cybertron

10 Hungry Hungry Hippos (5-4) - An easy win for them against West Coast but things go south from here with 5 games against tough squads over the next 5 weeks. Next game: Nairobi

11 Algeria Dune Hoppers (3-6) - Losing to the Pirates doesn't say much about a team since they've been so dominating and with 6 games remaining on the schedule that can go either way Algeria still has a small shot of making a push for the 8 seed. Next game: Carolina

12 Carolina Flying Tigers (3-6) - Carolina will have to wait another week to notch win #4. Next game: Algeria

Bottom Four
13 West Nile Mosquitos (1-8) - Does anyone even read past this point in the rankings??? Next game: Sterling

14 West Coast Rage (1-8) - Does anyone even care? Next game: Somali

15 LHC Naked Turtles (0-9) - LHC could notch their first win of the season this week. Next game: Saskatoon

16 Saskatoon Vulcanos (0-9) - With a matchup against LHC only 1 team will go winless this season. Next game: LHC

West Yorkshire outranks us in most categories but we have better chemistry. Should be a close, great game. Thanks again for the weekly rankings.

WEEK 10 RANKINGS

The Fine Four
1 Somali Pirates (10-0) - Easy bye week victory keeps the Pirates perfect. Big game next week though as Somali enters a tough 3 game stretch. Next game: Nairobi

2 Nairobi Death Squad (8-2) - Big bounce back win against Hungry has Nairobi set to face off against top seeded Somali. Next week: Somali

3 Sterling Bulldawgs (8-2) - The Bulldawgs get a huge push in the rankings this week due to Alexandria's loss and Cybertron's tough outing against BURUNDI. The Aces will put up more of a fight then West Nile next week though. Next week: Alexandria

4 Cybertron War Machine (8-2) - BURUNDI made this a much tougher game than I was expecting it to be and it's affecting my rankings negatively for the War Machine. Both teams played a physical running game with only 15 pass attempts combined between both teams. Cybertron gets the win by 4 points in the end though. Next game: West Nile

Middle of the Road
5 Alexandria Crimson Evil Aces (7-3) - Huge upset loss against Fulham hurts the Aces ranking this week. The Aces were up 15-13 with 2 minutes left in the game and then everything fell apart for them. Fulham scored a rushing TD and followed that up with 2 pick 6s to put the game away for good. When it was all said and done Fulham scored 28 points in a little over 2 minutes. Next game: Sterling

6 West Yorkshire Bandits (6-4) - A solid win over Nile moves them up the rankings but the season won't get much easier from here on out. Bandits should finish at worst 9-7 but will that be enough to stay in the playoff race. Next game: Algeria

7 Fulham Flying Hellfish (5-5) - HUGE win over the Aces. To keep it close would have been a success for Fulham but to come away with a 4th quarter explosion of points that led to a win makes this their biggest game of the season so far. Next game: Hungry

8 Nile Crocodiles (5-5) - Nile fell flat against the Bandits and lost a chance to step ahead of the pack. Next game: Saskatoon

9 BURUNDI BUCSH WARRIORS (5-5) - Losing to Cybertron is nothing to look bad on. BURUNDI can take a lot away from this game. Huge running game for both teams were on display today. Next game: LHC

10 Hungry Hungry Hippos (5-5) - Bad loss to Nairobi doesn't look to improve much this week. Next game: Fulham

11 Algeria Dune Hoppers (4-6) - Hoppers put down Carolina easily but the Bandits won't be such easy prey. Next game: West Yorkshire

12 Carolina Flying Tigers (3-7) - Bad loss this week but they get a bye week for the next game. Next game: West Coast

Bottom Four
13 West Nile Mosquitos (1-9) - Another loss will be followed by another before they face LHC. Next game: Cybertron

14 West Coast Rage (1-9) - Doubtful they'll see another win this season. Next game: Carolina

15 Saskatoon Vulcanos (1-9) - First and possibly only win of their season. Next game: Nile

16 LHC Naked Turtles (0-10) - If they can't beat West Nile in 2 weeks they'll finish the season 0-16. Next game: BURUNDI
