Yeah that's how it is. I offered two guys over 13k daily, with huge bonuses and they said no to go to WL teams for low salary. It's ever tougher if you don't have a winning record. believe me I know

Yeah, I think the fact my team does not have a winning record makes recruiting a much more pain in the ass. These, agents just don't get it though. I can turn this team around. I have turned other teams around in the past. I wont be able to turn the team around though, if agents wont sign with me.

I hated the idea of World Leagues! World Leagues really screwed everyone over recruiting wise.

Wow, I sent out a good 60 contracts last night, and only got three players so far to come. This is so ridiculous.

Tell ya the truth, that's a better hit rate then I get. I tend to send pm's first. In the past, when I first started recruiting, I would saturate the market with offers and invariably would end up with too many players at one position. I'm sure this has happened to every recruiter at least a few times.

I sent out contracts to 8 Defensive ends, and to my suspense I get four of them to come, go figure lol. Now if only other positions would come!

Getting later in the off season so recruiting will get a little easier.

When do you think bort is going to allow for more than x numbers of messages in a person's inbox? or doing an auto cleanout after sometime?

I know that when I put my HB on the market, I got swamped and apparently lost a lot of PMs because of the massive influx. I'm sure a lot of recruiters tend to notice some agents never wind up getting their PMs.

Good Point. My NT is on a CPU team. I get at least 25-30 pm's every day and I have never put him on the market. I can imagine it's even worse when you list an FA.

Yeah, it looks like the West Nile Mosquito's will be in for another terrible season. Sorry guys I did all I could do. I stayed up countless nights recruiting, sending out fair enough contracts. Have fun embarrassing my CPU players.

But good luck to all your teams this season. We will be taking yet again another break.

I feel your pain and can only say that recruiting sucks but you have to be super patient with it. Sometimes you'll find that you do much better when the season is closer to starting because most teams are filling out and there are less options for players. Every season I'm still recruiting at least a few games in to the regular season to fill out those last holes too.

Recruiting is enough to drive you insane and sometimes you've just got to settle for a few subpar builds to fill some holes too. It takes a lot of the fun out of the game but in the end the best you can hope for is that 1 out of every 100 PMs you send out brings a new recruit to the fold. I can't even imagine how many PMs I send out every season but it's probably around 1,000 just to fill 15-20 spots lol.

Thinking long term, see if you can start lining up some agents to bring players over for season 16 even while still looking for season 15 guys. It's never too early and you could get a good jump on next season.

I dont get why bort doesnt just allow for some CPU players to be higher rated to fill in the holes for some of these higher leveled teams... I mean I get he want to encourage more human players, but if he made like a 5 CPU limit per team, it would at least make some glaringly thin positions be easier to deal with.
