Pretty much. The owner stopped logging in and it defaulted to CPU in the middle of a season. Even if he was still logging in, there was so much drama and in-fighting that it was inevitable anyway.

So basically, Halifax and teams of similar nature aren't mergers, just a team assembled by smart and good recruiting of good agents with good dots from teams that were folding, that anyone could have recruited? Good to know.

Teams almost have to merge. When I joined the game in season 10, USAPL was stacked from top to bottom. The other regions didn't have as many good teams. There is no value in a contract other than paying for EQ. The idea of the WL is to bring all the regions together, but can anyone honestly say that recruitment opportunity was balanced across the regions?

The mergers still seem to be favoring the already well to do regions though.
