Well mine is a slang term
But I specifically got it from an And 1 player back when I used to watch that stuff a lot. I started using the name on a few sites back then, and I just stuck with it. It was also my name on the site that I was referred from, so people already knew me by that name.

Well...My initials are JM...For whatever reason a bud of mine flipped them and would constantly say "Nobody come off like M Jiddy" whenever he saw me comin' his way....The M was lost but he kept calling me Jiddy as time went on...It took off in use when the coach of our squad called me Jiddy in front of the rest of the team..Copycatting ensued...and that was that.
78 is birth year...for net differentiation purposes.

Yep, they were awesome back in the day. I was more into the mixtapes though, and I kind of lost interest by the time the whole tour thing was on TV...if that's what you were talking about.
I actually went to one of the games they had in Venice Beach and saw a few NBA players there too. The biggest one was Shawn Marion, but he wasn't even playing
. He was a "coach" of one of the teams.
