The argument seems to be about ill defined qualifiers like in "a lot of quality depth". How about this definition: "a lot of quality depth" means less than USPL and more than every other league. Does anyone even disagree with this?

S12 & S13 haven't been strong for any Pro leagues due to the transition forced by decline. As for the future, when I look around I don't see nearly as many "quality" teams in any region as we've become accustomed to. This game is set up so that if you have a whopping 2% additional attribute across the board than your opponent you demolish them regardless of tactics by 50 or so.

There will never be parity in this game....cuz the ones that jump on that build train will eventually say "F*ck this I want to win" (Natural inclination) and uber-combine all these great dots (due to the price structure of this game) so they can clownstomp everyone with little or no effort (due to the nature of handling coordination in this game) sans maybe a few games regular season and the playoffs.

Sometimes...SOMETIMES...You can catch lightning in a bottle and really have a nice league with decent competition where 95% of the teams won't get squashed in the end....but them is few and far between...although I've been a part of few...but they were well before the decline/retirement/merge train hit.

Actually I doubt that's true. You guys seem to have improved by leaps and bounds over the last two seasons, whereas Providence has gotten some better, but nothing revolutionary.

Actually I doubt that's true. You guys seem to have improved by leaps and bounds over the last two seasons, whereas Providence has gotten some better, but nothing revolutionary.
