it's head to head versus tied teams first. If there is a tie there, then it's points allowed.

points allowed is such a better tie breaker than points scored. i didn't know that change was made, but i like it.

The tie breaker should be "number of gart's mom's holes ejaculated into" multiple times count for multiple points.

In 4 or 5 game ties it's head to head agaisnt all the other teams, but when that one team differentiates itself in the head to head and is the top seed, what about the other 3-4, does it go back to head to head just between those 3 teams or include the other one or just straight points?

No, it's among all teams with the same record.

As Pack said it won't eliminate one of the teams to sort out the next 3-4. Here's an example scenario. Let's say all teams finish 10-6.

Team 1 - 3-1 against other 4 teams
Team 2 - 3-1 against other 4 teams
Team 3 - 2-2 against other 4 teams
Team 4 - 1-3 against other 4 teams
Team 5 - 1-3 against other 4 teams

In this case Team 3 is the #3 seed.

Team #1 and #2 will look at points allowed - team with fewest points allowed will be #1 seed, the other team will be #2 seed.

Team #4 and #5 will look at points allowed - team with fewest points allowed will be #4 seed, the other team will be #5 seed.

Shouldn't the first tie-breaker involving points be point differential? So if Team A, Team B, and Team C are all 1-1 against each other, whoever had the greatest difference between their points scored and points allowed would win that tie-breaker. That way you're not penalizing someone for having a great offense and bad defense, or vice versa. I proposed that long ago, but it's one of many suggestions that just get lost in the sea of uselessness that is the Suggestions forum.

point-differential is still easily skewed by playing gutted teams at the right times or in the OOC game. Points allowed is not nearly as much, which is why that switch was made.

The real one that makes sense and has been proposed many times is point-differential among the tied times. So if team A beats team B by 40 and then loses to team C by 3, they still get the nod.

But typical for this game, we have a better solution now than we had before, but we still ignore even better solutions. I'm used to it at this point.

They just got tired of the game, it had nothing to do with the fact that once they got the competition they sought, they couldn't dominate like they wanted to.
