Really? We both agreed that I was pointing out the obvious that the conferences were not close. Which has been repeated by everyone so that's nothing new. That being said being a playoff team from Alpha is not necessarily of an equal value.

The most glaring point being Belfast. First of all Alpha wasn't competitive so finding 8 teams would be a hard thing to do. Then to get 8 it's a 7-9 team who's major accomplishment of the season was beating none of the teams that made the playoffs.

So yeah a WL playoff team is a WL playoff team by definition. But their not all equal that's for sure.

just because ALpha was weaker doesn't take anything away from what we accomplished...at least not to me. We beat Cincinatti, Marblehead, held COZ to 4 FG's and lost to bonn by 6, not to mention only losing by 10 to MEM in rd 1. We also finished 10-6, even though we did loose to Korb on a fluke game!

Could we have made it out of Zeta as a play off team? maybe, maybe not, but we'd have been right there with Dakar that's for sure!

That we won't know. I know this though Belfast would not have been a playoff team in Zeta.

only comparison we have is having a closer game with Bonn then you....but a loss is a loss.

LOL some how you continue to miss the repeated Belfast comparison. Have I once said Singapore? If you want a comparison compare our record vs USA Pro teams in WL to anyone else. That's enough of a comparison to put an end to most arguments but yeah we did play 2 teams this season. Granted you only mentioned Bonn i'm assuming because it was a season game. No mention of NJB who we beat in season and you got beat by in a scrim.

right i wasn't mentioning scrim games, they don't count. Ya i know you keep mentioning Belfast, but we're not belfast so i don't see why your still talking about them. ANyways i was just trying to create some chatter not get into an argument about who's team is better, Dakar is a great team and hope for the best for you guys in season 13.

lol your funny. You were being defensive about your conference which we both think is weak as well as everyone else outside of the top 4 teams in Alpha. You brought in the Bonn game because obviously you weren't trying to argue... You were just making a comparison just for the sake of conversation.

i wasn't being defensive about my conference, but at the same time complaining about the weakness of the division (which it is if belfast makes the play offs) doesn't take anything away from what OUR team has done. That's all i'm saying, you make it sounds like we're absolute crap because we made the play offs in alpha. I only compared the bonn game to show that we might have still made the play offs in zeta and been in the same range as dakar, 1 spot out. In the long run you might just be a little pissed that a team like Belfast is sticking around while a good team like Dakar is headed back to there pro league...which in all honesty, i'd feel the same way!

oh ya, and we'll be back in WL in season 14 too, no matter what division we're in...
