Me: LMAO...

jfbueno: WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH since you made fun of my team here in the USA A#1, im gonna bring a team i dont even own and try to compare them to you.... your a mean mean man...

I consider you going to the BBB forums a season early about as stupid as me bringing up, at the time, another A team. No need to try and deflect the argument if it's futile. Now I know why you guys lost in the first round, you take GLB comparison stats too seriously.

If all you depend on is comparisons via GLB then heres another stat for you.

Bears 1st team offense(strictly levels): 181
Monkeys 1st team offense: 194

Bears 2nd team Offense: 128
Monkeys 2nd team Offense: 162

Bears 1st team Defense: 152
Monkeys 1st team Defense: 196

Bears 2nd team Defense: 107
Monkeys 2nd team Defense: 144

Bears Special teams(Kicker and Punter): 30
Monkeys Special teams: 35

And thats not even counting the level 19 and two level 18s that are coming tommorow. So if we ever meet up, which we wont, since your team will never make it that far, you would take the ass beating.

Yeah, don't give me that lecture. Pot meet kettle.

I completely agree....shit talking about football is one thing, insults and personal attacks that serve no purpose other than to stroke one's own ego or air dirty laundry are totally different. As the reigning BBB#2 champion, for what that's worth, it was pretty insulting to see that thread in our forum.

And for what it's worth, Swamp has always been a class act so I don't put too much stock in any of it. He runs a tough, well balanced team and as an owner I know what it's like to deal with tough decisions that damage someone's ego.

lol...I've had similar conversations although I wouldn't go so far as the ass kicking all year part.

My team consists primarily of 5-6 very tight friends that like to keep our circle small. When I started my team I originally had higher level offensive players committed, but egos got in the way and we decided to dump them before the season kicked off and create all of our own players from scratch...that's why we're even at 14 across the board on offense.

I entertained the idea of seeking out higher level FAs to "close the gap" but ultimately we decided it was best for the team's real life chemistry if we didn't try to go that route this time. We know what we've got and we'll use it to be as competitive as we can.

Eventually the advanced tactics will be introduced and owners won't be able to rely strictly on player talent level to get them by, and any flaws in depth or game planning will be exposed.

That's not a bad strategy though. Given the way the pyramid structure works, every season, two of the most powerful teams will be leaving. In time, you will be able to compete at the top again, and if you have a group of friends that are very cohesive that is the foundation for that team, it makes it that much easier to set a strategy and directions.

There ya go

Forgive me for being blunt because we're new to this league and you guys all know each other, but the impression I get is that some of you are pretty proud of the fact that your teams are 2-3 levels higher on average than us new guys. That's all well and good but I see that as insecurity when, if you look at it honestly, it's only that way because some of you have failed to get over the hump and move on.

You can talk shit about the Hitmen if you choose, we don't mind because we know where we've been. We don't ever make predictions and we don't pretend to be better than anyone. Just know that we're chasing you and you can't run forever....eventually the gap will close on its own and we'll be there waiting.

I can't wait for this season to freakin start already!

Go Hitmen!

So the bottom line is swamp should have notified you that he was making a move. OK, I got it and amazingly enough I agree with you. It would have been nice. For all we know he did notify you and you are just upset that he did replace you. But lets throw that out and say that everything happened the way you say it did.

Who cares? He found someone new to upgrade the team. He made his move. You complained. He sent you to a team that you could start for. Am I missing something here? You must have really loved his team to be so upset. Take it like a man and move on. It also might have been a better idea to speak to swamp directly rather then jump out and the street and start screaming like a child.

I find it completely ironic that you guys lose one Orlando team that causes drama, just to be granted a completely different Orlando team also full of drama!

Hah!

PS, Whatsdafus is always wrong, you can just ignore him.

Good luck Orlando, the East is tough.

I give up. Its about loyalty or lack there of. Swamp did not contact me. I tried to speak with him via PM. Didnt work. He locked me out of the ODP forums, so this was the last place to go. Did I love the team? sure. I worked hard spent alot of money to help make it good last year. When I was recruited, I was told we would stay together and build the dynasty.

Im done posting about this. Some people who agree with me are afraid to speak publicly because they will be ridiculed or replacd on the team. Thank you for the private PMs at least. Good luck with the upcoming season guys.

Peace.
