So I came back with "how about the lesson of ranking someone below you after doing the same thing last year and seeing those rankings change".
Yes this is based on starters average level I assume. Great. I think that's completely retarded way of doing things, but whatever.
Builds are a huge deal as is depth. But if you wanted to be correct while taking builds out of the equation, you need to at least include custom items. It'd be nice to see if they upgraded those items but obviously you wont be able to.
So maybe an average skill points or something like that. A custom item is 6 skill points so more than 1 level.

i didnt post that as my official "this is how i feel the league will hash out" rankings...i posted that as to say its nice to see that both leagues are pretty even from top to bottom as far as their average level of starters...
go ahead and add depth and custom equipment to the equation bro...the Grizzlies would still be ranked ahead of the Sharks with that as everyone has custom equip and our lowest leveled player is 11..likely one level high than what the league median will be.
anyways...yet another bright comment from you bro with "seeing that rankings change"...obviously rankings change bro, if they didnt, i wouldnt have to do a weekly update....i cant perfectly predict how this league is going to hash out...the best i can do is look at the starting levels and make the assumption...people want preseason rankings...if you cant take that teams improve and the Sharks from what i can see have done nothing...then i dont know what to tell ya...good luck in the season, you still have a great team...hope to see ya sometime this season.

The level thing is moot until day zero when everyone boosts...those that boost will be ahead, those that do not will be behind. But as we all learned last year, being the highest level does not necessarily equate to success. There are a lot of very well managed teams, tactics and strategy seem to have a very, very great impact on the game.
