Some time you have to accept the inevitable. We have a first pick bust on the Niner's. He's nowhere near as bad as Russell though.
when the Raiders first got Russell, I was basically whining that they got such a better QB when they had the #1 pick.
Now I'm looking at Alex Smith like, "hmmm, I wonder if this guy could still be a starting QB?"
Basically- Smith should get another shot before he leaves town.
On the other hand, I really don't know if there's any hope for Russell. That guy is just B-A-D.
He doesn't even really show any glimpses. He has a huge arm, but he's terrible in the pocket, he's terrible out of the pocket, and it just goes on and on.
Lazy----In three season he now has 80% percent of the play book down WTF---No pocket presence at all----Fat I can go on
actually he has some of the worst pocket presence I've ever seen. He never gets his body into the right position to make a throw... he just throws it whether or not his body is aimed the right way. Take that long TD pass against the Eagles where they got super lucky. There's a replay from the back of the pocket and you can just see how screwy his footwork is, then he throws a wobbly duck, and somehow the Eagles D broke down and let him race for a 70 yarder.
if I was an east coaster, I'd probably be a Jets fan hahahahah
I never liked the Giants ever since I was like 12 yrs old and LT forced Roger Craig to fumble away the Three-Peat.
49ers would have thrashed the Bills for their 3rd straight Super Bowl, but noooooooooooo Bill Parcells gets all the glory.
Lucky I even eat tuna anymore, that fat bastard! hahah
