I dont know, about sharp I think is numbers are a bit inflated especially when you have the greatest QB ever throwing you the ball IMO. I feel ya on harrison and the rest.

i believe you always put a great QB with the great WRs. Jerry was the best, but i wouldn't be mad to have the players that were around some of them. I'm a Eagles fan, but my favorite 49ers were John Taylor, Montana, Craig, Lott and Keena Turner

GO Philly!!
fan <----
I hear ya on the WR part I was hoping that Chad would still come over, they need to just drop those first 2 round picks for next season , hell they should have given up both their 1st and second this year for him. Oh well here's to Westbrook!!!

You ain't lying, Chad would be worth three 1st round picks to a team like Philly. I hope they get smart and redo Westbrook's contract, 'cuz he don't have no incentive to keep playing like a top 5 RB and not get paid like one.

I'm going to have to agree with him here they are great players but not at Jerry Rice's level of play... but u also can't compare athletes of this generation to the athletes of another do to rule changes, strategy changes, and new ways to improve your body... there is no way to really tell who would be better.

in jerrys day , corners could maul the Wide receiver while he was running his route , making it harder to get open. Now Corners cant touch the wr outside of 5 yards with out getting called for Pass intf. Thats enough to show his ability for me

Well I just read through this entire thread and I have to say:
1) It is great to be on Compton, I hope my QB does big things!
2) The Moss TD record means nothing, Rice set the record in I think a 12 game season because of the lock out so Rice put up 22 TDs in 12 games while Moss put up 23 TDs in 16 games, whose is better?

You are sooooo clueless... Asante is a 1 year wonder... watch in Philly.

Tha Pats admitted what?!?!?! again clueless.

I was talking about salary cap CHEATING... nice dodge of the facts.

I am not saying we are the '80s 49ers yet... but getting there. The debate is in denial... for you.

Asante is not a one year wonder , idiotic statement. And what would you call fernando bryant? I would call him an 10 year cb who has only intercepted 7 balls in his career . I would call asante a 6 year cb who has intercepted 22 balls. Fernando is a scrub
The patriots admitted to cheating, and they werent punished heavily enough
49ers didnt cheat in the 80s. I dont call under the table deals cheating because every team of that era did it , so the nfl created the salary cap . The salary cap is going to be gone again in the next few years....

FOr the last time , these current pats arent evern close , they have already failed. TO do what the 80s 49ers did , you must go 4-0 in the decade. Your chances of doing that are done. And you missed your chance of winning 4 last year. The pats will not win again in this decade

Asante is a "good" CB... had 1 great year. Philly overpaid, plain and simple. I think NE's history of paying players worth and judgement of talent speaks for itself... look at all the FAs that left and DISAPPEARED.... Bryant is no superstar but will fill Samuals roll just as good.... just watch.

The Pats did not admit to cheating... ever. 'cuz they didn't. Camera placement violation is all that occured here... nothing more, nothing less. The 49ers actually did cheat the salary cap.... FACT... pfft... deals under the table are not cheating when there is a HARD CAP?...

no wonder you never admitted or apologized for your cheating in GLB, you think it's "normal". That's why Bort and DD have spent the entire offseason twice, updating chemistry and now XP modifiers to stop scumbags and aholes from doing things to ruin the game... yeah, "normal".

I will think of you, thinking of me, when Brady hoists his 4th Lombardi...lol

good luck with your lockerroom this season... it's almost as healthy as San Fran's.

asante 1 good year?? year before this he had 10 ints. he currently has the most ints in 2 years. THE PATRIOTS ADMITTED TO CHEATING YOU IDIOT, YOUR DUMBASS FOR A COACH CAME ON TV AND ADMITTED TO GOODELL. the 49ers didnt cheat , get that out of your mind . You really dont know shit about the nfl, your the type of person i like to call a bandwagon fan. I know more about that franchise than you do . Tom Brady wont ever raise another lombardi. ANd the 49ers lockerooom is pretty fine.. please know what your saying before you post again

This thread began retarded and has steadily declined.
Some of you have a hard on for the Pats, some for the 49ers...we get it.

You should all worship the 85 Bears.
