Though I take this thread as a joke and not seriously at all, I can't help but single out your post. Ok 6th place, how do you come off talking about a 3rd place team? You talk about play offs, your lucky you even made the play offs. Sixth place, I think as a GM, you should worry about your team making the play offs this upcoming season than "ridiculing" a 3rd place team. Yeah we lost in the first round but I believe someone else did too. Get back to me when your team wins 10 games.

As for this upcoming season, I would like to wish you all good luck. It was fun last season Zeta, I have nothing but respect for all you guys and your teams. Can't wait for the season to start.

All good guys. We lost and we're struggling right now. Keep in mind though that we were in the same situation last season and we went on a 9 game winning streak. Not saying that will happen again but you never know. If you want to bash a team for struggling, go right ahead, just keep in mind that you guys are starting to sound like the team you guys love to hate (which is us). Good luck to you and remember, the season is a marathon, not a sprint.

I think we're coming up against a cultural divide hear. My feeling is that, in England at least, it's considered the wrong thing to do to call yourselves good, and to boast too much. But since you talk about your own shortcomings it's fine to do it for others too. In America it's more or less exactly the opposite as far as I can tell, saying your good is accepted, and saying others is bad is not.

Of course, maybe you're not American and this is a moot point.

Do I think your team sucks? No, I think it's too early to tell.
Do I think you have a bad record? So far, yes.
Do I think the Runners are awesome? Yes, but more as a place to play ball than a top team.
Do I think we have a great record? Yes, so far we have kicked serious ass. But I can't help but feel we have been somewhat flattered by opponents.

Hello Brave Sir Robin, I believe we finally have an agreement. The only thing is if we don't keep this going between your other GMS and King and I, the board will kinda get boring. I think my team is good and at the same time I feel we could beat any team in Alpha or in Zeta but I think that all the teams in both conferences are good.

I think there are a lot of great teams. I wouldn't say all of them.

I agree that in person someone should not boast and should be modest, but in a mmorpg football game i see no problem with it. Its a way to get teams interacting and the league forums moving as Jutter mentioned.

Yes yes I wish myself and my team were able to back up my comments thus far, but I think that the problem is in our gameplanning and our worthy opponents, not the structure of our team. I have complete confidence in my team finishing well and putting up a fight in the playoffs. we're only 3 games deep.

As a lover of banter my basic position is - the Paladins want to keep it lively which is great and in return the Runners have taken up their challenge and now we've got some banter going despite us probably never playing each other. That's all good and so long as we all just know our roles and give and take stick then great.

Also curse those Spaniards and their name stealing oh and Frankfurt for being really good.
