It could also be that Bort has been so busy with other issues of this BETA game that he didn't realize that this was actually their 2nd offense which he is looking into now.
Thats another thing i am tired of hearing... beta...
People use the term like it is some sort of excuse for developers... well it's not... its suppose to be the stage in the waterfall cycle where the product is released in limited distribution to perspective customers who receive the product for free or discounted pricing in exchange for an agreement to beta test for free. It is not an excuse for lack of support, its an excuse for programming issues within the software package.
The price structure of this game pretty much takes it out of the definition of "beta" regardless of how many times you post it on the pages or how many people drink the kool-aide
Im pretty busy at my job too and find it sometimes difficult to keep up with the day to day details of my responsibilities, my boss still doesn't take the "I was too busy to get to that"
Once you start charging people what they are charging for this game you lose the right to use being busy as an excuse for not doing something... if you are too busy hire someone to do it, I am unsympathetic to the "im busy excuse" i like the "sorry guys i missed that one, i'll take care of it now" line.
All that being said i think the guys here are doing a pretty great job at getting it going and building something, but a couple more of these situations and it will be apparent that they are just making a quick cash grab waiting for a major software vendor to pick it up and pay them a nice development fee and walk away...
