This isn't football dipshit...it's a video game. As a said above you can have this forum. And no, I'm not the only one that's tired of your prepubescent crap. I'm just the only one that posted about it outside of pm's. Or maybe you haven't realized there are less people posting here than there used to be.

Maybe I should spend my skill points on charisma so PC's will have a better reaction to me. This is not a video game. Madden is a video game. This is the, "let me assign random points to my circles game".

There was a time when this forum was one of the best in the game. It was devoid of useless juvenile video game trash talk. I guess I fail to see what you get out of this crap. Compensating for something lacking in your "real life?" I'm assuming the posts we used to have discussing the game and rational team discussion are gone.

Cerneo, you and useless raider fan are acting like your twelve. Hell, maybe you are and that would explain it. I guess i should thank you though. One less forum to pay attention to.

If you consider voicing displeasure over your juvenile act "crying," you should probably look up the meaning of the word you're using.

Bye I guess, enjoy your overreaction for the next couple days, you will be back.

I really wish we got to play more interconference games.

Or least new teams. First season our interconference game was against the Dallas Raptors. They changed their name to the Roughnecks. The second season...we played the Roughnecks. I wanna play Cerneo so he'll shutup about how weak the East is.

Good luck

Well, you won't have the LA Sharks around to beat up... we've been moved to USA#8 - it looks to me as if they needed to move a team into that league after they busted one of their teams for deliberate gutting or something, so since we were the worst non-relegated team in our league, they grabbed us.

at least, it's a working theory right now...

be interesting to see how we do in the #8 A league

I will post the same thing here as I did in the Africa AA#3 boards regarding the Chesapeake issue in USA A#8:

Although, they are no longer in the league, the credibility and game atmosphere took a very big hit for the league alone. Soon after the season ended, I began lobbying with some teams to try and get out of the league myself. Their actions did a lot of harm even for the teams, like mine, that did not face them. While, I have my team in a much tougher and brutal USA A#1 Western Conference now, I feel that the drama and the atmosphere will be much better. As a team, I also think we will be better for leaving the league even with the tougher schedule.

In regards to the LA Sharks, I also feel they will benefit from the house cleaning over there by GLB admins and fair much better in that league than they did here in USA A#1.. The switch, which was agreed upon by both the Tornado and Sharks, has its benefits for both teams and the benefits far outweigh any negatives for either team.

I agree that the Sharks are likely to be more competitive in USA #8 - we learned a LOT from playing in A#1, and though we lost many games, we think that we've managed to make some changes to our settings and our depth that would have given us a much better chance at winning more games in #1 - looking forward to seeing how these changes will benefit us in our new league

Oh, shush. It IS very difficult for middle to lower tiered teams to find the proper level players now to compete with the top tiered ones in a league. There is absolutely NO liquidity in the FA market for third season players. Moving them to another league that is basically a second season league where they might actually have a chance to compete and have fun is a good thing.

By the way, speaking of FA signings, I did the avg. team level spreadsheets for this league last night. You're now below the MB Bears in team strength, better not count on this season being a repeat of the Seminoles last year for ya, ESPECIALLY if Bort finally implements injuries into the game.

I agree about the free agent market. Most of the higher level players are only in the 14-15 range which isn't any better than what I already have. At best they make good rotational and special teams players. We're satisfied with what we've got so it's not worth the hassle IMO...and you're right about the injuries, it's another factor that'll help equalize the playing field and owners won't be able to hide behind their studs any more. I can't wait til the advanced tactics are released.

BRB...lemme go look. Not according to my spreadsheets. They were within .5, not 1-2

I think almost every team in all the leagues are being pinched for high level backups since there are so many new teams and so few QUALITY players to go around. Levels aren't everything. There is training levels, custom equipment, standard equipment etc, plus knowing how to build and having a build that supports a teams basic philosophies.

I agree. When you're team level strength is within 1, 1.5 maybe, you can beat a higher level team through good builds, equips and game settings. You get in the 2+ range, and then the game algorithms tend to favor the higher level team. That's what makes this league so competitive and hard to win a Championship in. According to my spreadsheets, this league has the most teams that are within that 1 level difference. I think it's also why this league is so much fun. I'd rather win a close game or lose to a good competitor than have one of those 63-0 blowouts.
