Well I hope you wrong in your assessment of Molfetta Mafia. We are experienced Gm's. We have a lot of talent. 80% of the players came from AAA to this team this season. Don't take us lightly!! We are good.

Helsinki isn't an exploit-based team, fyi. And I, for one, am insulted that you'd stick us with being the type of team that just latches on to exploits. The offense we used in the playoffs is one that Samoa has used off and on at points for the past few seasons, and has always been short pass/screen focused, far before screens were the ridiculous powerhouse they are now. It has always been elusive back heavy because, guess what? We've always had elusive backs. Pitches and outside runs were always what it used. So I really hate the fact that you're basically just saying we're going to exploit our way to victory since that has never been my MO since season 1 of owning Samoa. I've always played it straight up, and the players on my team would leave the team if they felt they got a trophy through what amounts to cheating and exploits. They'd rather win legitimately than win by exploiting faults in the sim.

We slow built to take over for my squad in o-pro next season and ran a horribly basic offense all season last season. When I say we had 10 plays, all with a random 10% chance to be called, I'm not kidding. We're going to try some more this season, sure, but the team will be at its best when it promotes up to O-Pro after this season. If your reasoning for basically calling me and anyone else that works with the team an exploiter is because we slow built, you're sorely mistaken. We're planning for the future when all the other teams we compete against will be slow built.

lmao!

I didn't except a huge rant and hurt feelings.

A lot of good teams exploit, especially in the Po's at the higher levels where you have to because everyone is doing it. It wasn't meant to be an insult, just an observation. I mainly said that because I see Buddy Horn, (or Soundwave, or whatever his current name is) on your GM list, and I know for a fact that he is very good at finding that handful of plays that work a little better than the others, and making them work with his current personnel.

Slow building isn't an exploit, imo.

p.s. Please see the disclaimer in my original post.

Since when does 2 paragraphs qualify as a huge rant?

I guess it is a relative thing.
I'm pretty sure it's got a higher word count than my breakdown of the entire conference.

Who doesn't. That decision was hard to make.

And I am not a shot caller on this team. Kinda a backup plan when the real coordinators are MIA or have RL that prevents game planning.
