Blazers checking in. Got our asses handed to us last season. Added some depth and are ready for some pay backs.

Sounds like the Oakland Raiders this year. Playing a 34 vs Singleback and leaving the MLB to cover the Slot. Denver saw it and moved Marshal to slot and beat the shit out of Oakland by doing it.

Oaklands play calling is just....no comprende this season.

Only a couple games into the season around the league...but so far...i'm not a believer. And i do'nt see your team promoting to AAA#1 out of AA#2 naturally. Sure there are always room for guts moving around but i think your out of your mind if you think your gonna win AA#2 conference this season. Well i nkow the Pimps wont be able to stop you, but i'm pretty sure other teams will.

What happened to your D for the Grizzlies man? 55 points? yikes!

the damn raiders need to just run the option so russell can run downfield blocking all day. That's about the only good thing i seen him do all season, a guy that big can just mow down the secondary. and yes, i'm a raider fan...fuck!

Well, he has 1 offensive lineman in their natural position and 3 starting o lineman injured with the starting TE injured and the starting HB injured along with the starting WRs being rookies. Kinda tough to show anything good at all when ya have less than 2 seconds to throw the ball after the snap and nobody to throw it to.

But he has shown some pretty bad stuff even when he does get time, but on the flip side, he did do well vs SD in game 1 when most of the team was healthy.

Ya it sucks because it looks like Andrew Walter all over again. He wasn't that bad he just wasn't givin a chance, or a line who could stop him from getting jacked left and right. It's never been the qb really for the raiders, but how can a young guy develop confidence we he is constantly getting sacked and fumbling because of no time in the pocket. I still think the raiders should make better use of Russell now by letting him run more. Either way, it's looking like we might only have 1 more win left this season. at least the niners sucked last week too, yay!

I agree. Didnt he do pretty good at LSU in bootlegs and running? I dont remember. I definitely think hes an outside the pocket passer and he's lowered his shoulder and ran over some defenders too.

Heres a nice vid of him doing some good stuff in Oakland, but nobody seems to remember him doing any of it. The music may have a couple not work safe lyrics and the video doesn really get started for a min. But in it you can see some of his touch passes showing he does have some accuracy and my favorite par at 3:10 into the video he runs over a KC defender

That's what i'm talking about....he's far better used running over the secondary. Why get a QB that big to just stand up in the pocket or do PA after PA. That's Al and the Raiders for ya. I mean Cable will go for it on 4th and 12 but he wont just drop the ball and try and run wild cat or let Russell run the option. Stupid!

watching that is still kinda sad though, because that's like 2 seasons worth of good clips of Russell in 5 minutes. Also a bunch of those plays where he completes in the red zone only turn into field goals. God being a Raider fan is depressing.
