Gotcha. Well that's cool, glad to see someone with the initiative to keep up with all of it. Since I got my own team I've had a bad case of tunnel vision, so the only teams I've kept up with are the ones we play or the ones I have/had players on.

Judging by what I've seen so far it looks like we moved up to a very tough league....that's great on one hand because we love competition, but it really sucks on the other hand because my team is very young compared to the rest of yours so I'm sure it'll be a struggle until the playing field is evened out a bit more.

Oh, I think you'll like it here. This is THE MOST ACTIVE league forum out of all the different ones. The volume of posts in here dwarfs the others. It's a fun forum. You'll have your work cut out for you in competing for awhile though. The top 8 teams in each conference are tough and could probably beat each other on any given game day, there's usually a couple of teams that suddenly rise above the rest in a new season, and usually a surprise team that rolls through in the playoffs.

This is the first season where we've had winners rise into this league. We were originally at the bottom of the small vertical format they had as CCC league when there were only 8 USA Leagues. Then Bort expanded and rearranged most of the Leagues into the pyramid format, so this is now the second season we have been in that format.

But even though it can be cutthroat in here, sometimes lotso smack, just remember it's still just a game and don't forget the fun factor. I have three teams in different leagues, and I can tell you right now...this league is damn fun...one of the best.

We shall see. They may have been a well oiled machine last year that steamrolled through BBB, but most of his players are level 14's, and most of the teams in here are Level 17's. That much point difference in the game sim algorithms can be brutal to the lower leveled team unless the higher level team just has crappy builds...and in here? You don't dare have a crappy build.



I can relate to what you are saying and I wasn't advocating that he would come here and rule.The man has his own players and has built a good team that will suprise some in how well he manages everything.I have understood from day one this is a numbers game and that lower level teams are at a disadvantage but that is what also makes this game interesting.Seeing if you can beat the odds....

Hopefully not, bort needs to stop moving teams around. I am interested to see which team couldn't win the league and still thinks they deserve to move up. What's the point of the pyramid setup if all it takes is a pm to move wherever you want?

Aren't you the guy that was crying in the forums last night because you were traded and you didn't have a no trade clause?

The trade issue is a different issue that is involved in two other players.. we had players on a very good South America team... The new owner traded our players away without regard to notifying us prior to it and there were other issues that factored into the mess, but I that is about all I am willing to discuss on the matter. As for the team coming in here.. we are not moving up or down from the food chain. I do see the this league as a better fit in terms of rivalries and competition.

I was in on the thread last night because I was bored. As I said then, owners don't have to notify players of trades. They should, but are not required to. I'm sure in the future you'll get a no trade clause. I've always been surprised more players don't sign one year deals with the clause unless you know the owner personally.

If people would stop colluding, gutting, and pestering Bort about moves he could finish the tactics updates. I'd be surprised if he isn't chewing vallium like candy right now. It's not personal, I just hope there are no more team moves.

I like your attitude, cause yer gonna get killed. Your team avg. level is 11.28. Ours is 16.73...and we only finished 5th in our Conference.

I noticed that the Dallas Death have a new owner and they lost a lot of players. Too bad they were a decent team. They played Tallahassee within 4 points.

Wow...look at all the CPU's on that team. They must have gotten raided for the few hours they were CPU owned, possibly before Bort changed that that little bug.

Actually, Bort fixed that bug now, so the instant the team is CPU owned, the players cannot be traded. The prior owner/GM must have done that.

No more Dallas Death. Bummer.

Maybe we can get the owner to change the team name.... move 'em to Waco, San Antonio or some OTHER city than what's already there.

Death gutted fail.
