is there any each way betting on the overall outcomes ?

Is it bad that doing this makes me want to become a real bookie? As long as you can set good lines . . .

For the Cincinnati/Drinkin game. Currently there is $20,000 of volume, with an exposure of -$909 (negative is profit).
For the DryBlo/MPHD game. Currently there is $15,000 of volume, with an exposure of -$681 (negative is a profit).

On the flip side, the action is pouring in on Marblehead +14.5 $22,500 bet on Marblehead and nothing bet on OTR. If I was changing lines I would definitely adjust this one. Not necessarily because I think the spread is wrong, but to encourage betting on the other side.

What do you mean? Like betting that Bonn WON'T win the championship? Currently the only bets available are the ones posted. I could be tempted to put the bets described above up.

say if I put 1,000 E/W (each way) on the dragons at 12/1

that would be 1,000 dollars on them to win the league outright
and then another 1,000 dollars on them to place i.e. get to the conference final or something @ a quarter of the odds, which would be 3/1.

Ah, I see. I thought about putting Conference Champ odds, but figured it was a lot of work for a small gain. If I did a general divisor it would probably be between 5 and 6. For next round I may include the moneyline on each game, too.

thanks for picking this up, I've been swamped with work and unable to come up w/ lines.

No big deal. These aren't meant to replace your lines, either. I'm sure yours were done in a much more scientific way than these and this bookie may be taken to the cleaners.

Nope not at all. I just tried to encourage as much betting on both sides as I could. In many cases you have to over-adjust more than you would think.
