Guess what? I have been in the Pros a long time. Got here fairly quickly. Won't be back my ass. If I stay with this game I will be back, fairly quickly and will enjoy kicking you ass!!!!!!!!! Meet me in person and the ass kicking can go on sooner!!!!!!!

Nothing against y'all at all (love the tough guy "meet me in person" schtick, though.), just that I am on several slow build teams that after 3-4 seasons are still stuck in the cloud despite being successful the last 2-3 years. It will take 6-7 seasons before you even reach a league pyramid, and after that you've got to battle through 3 league promotions against what will be other slow build teams . . . Best case is reaching PRO by season 10 of your build process.

The thing is who really knows how long it will take. Alot of the teams that are in the high leagues will be going the same route once players start to retire in the next couple of seasons. Then all the pro leagues all the way down to AA will look completely different. Nobody knows how retirement will affect the game because it has never happened.

If Swillers are gonna drop to bottom of the cloud, its gonna be a tough way up.

If they let themselves be a punching bag and natural relegation take its course for a couple of seasons, they'd probably drop to around uncapped minors before their slow-build will be competitive again, which is in 3-4 seasons. Might be sooner, with the amount of teams that will fall when the s1-s2 generation dies.

Course, this assumes admin/support lets them relegate naturally, rather than forcing them to drop.

Agreed.

What about this season, though? Playoff seeding could very well come down to total points scored, and the teams that get to play the Swillers now have a HUGE advantage. BS move in my mind.

Always sad to see a good team go. But be warned, zthings arenīt going to be any easier competing against all the other slow-build teams.

This happens every season in most Pro leagues. Shit happens, teams change course, so is the state of the game. I don't fault them for doing what they did. Their players can be helpful for other teams. Does it suck we played them when they were still together, sure.

If we lose a playoff seed because of it....oh well.

To Olden...good luck in the future and getting back to the pros!
