If the reward for winning your league is moving up to a league that would be as difficult as you all say for us to compete then what reward did that team earn? I haven't ran this across my owner, but it seems to me that the only way to then be competitive would be to cut or trade current players to make room for better ones."A lot of the teams winning and moving up have great fan support, meaning they can keep adding onto their stadium, making their profit exponentially larger than what they pay out. Why does that matter you say? Come playoffs, chances are those teams have all homefield games, meaning more money and more construction during the offseason. With the money generated from the stadium upgrade, they can afford to pay the players they need. Really, there isn't that much of a difference between leagues. I'll use the Mofo's for example. The majority of my team is more skilled/higher level than some teams in AAA or even Pro. Levels don't always mean success. Look at the Gobblers. Game planning is equally, if not more, important.
Hope that answers your question.
Yeah that helps a lot, so would you say that proper game planning and solid player builds will ultimately equal out versus playing against teams with higher level players as this game progresses. Just as say the USC Trojans always have a Top 5 recruiting class without always winning a national championship.
Hopefully our game planning will still help us to win some games in this league. At least enough to stick around for a few seasons to prove our worth.
I think as long your players have good builds, and you game plan a great deal, you'll be ok. Really, IMO, I think it's going to be a lot of hard work for you guys. I'm not saying by any means that we are the shit, but with some teams having 4-6 levels more, ultimately those teams may have players with builds that you won't even come close to competing with. Either way, good luck to you.
