FYI...as an African American, I don't think black/racist jokes are funny. The joke/comment never should have been made. This is not the place for racial jokes.

I think the distinction between a "racist joke" and a joke that is poking fun at social taboos and racism needs to be made here. If you really think a joke about a racist pirate is offensive...well I don't know what to say then. Maybe you should lighten up a little?

Have you seen the movie Gran Torino? If you have do you remember the scenes with Clint Eastwood and his barber where they pretty much bust each others balls the whole time? Where i'm from that's how men talk to each other. I have black friends, asian friends, spanish friends, middle eastern friends and friends of every race/nationality you can think of, and you know what? We all bust each others balls equally (and many times about each others perceived social stereotypes)

So if you really want to bring up the forum rules, then please lets follow them all the time. Any trash talking could be considered "personal attacks" so no more of that. We should probably get rid of power rankings too because personally I find them to be "insulting posts" when they rank my team too low.

I will now edit my original post to something less offensive and politically correct in order to follow forum rules.

I was just stating that you didn't have to bring race into things.

Having experienced racism practically my whole life, I just your post was insensitive and unnecessary.

Thank you for editing your post and now it's time to move on to football.

The world will always have bigots, racists and other mean spirited people. We can either sweep it under the rug and act like it's not there or we can find humor in their ignorance. I choose the latter.

I must admit the RAWK!!!'s fleshlights are expertly crafted products.

Might be time to make a Private forum so people can speak their mind without others getting their panties in a bunch. People call me cracker and I can care less. lol
