10) Matu-Utu Voodoo: They were the victims of the surprising Nottingham Hoods team last season in the OPL finals but still had a great season in the weakest Pro league in GLB. They will lose their opening round game against Bonn but will play around .500 the rest of the season and finish with a solid 7-9 record, however they will have to return to OPL following the season because of the demotion plans made by Bort.

11) So Cal BDC: So they were in OPL last season, and with that being among the easiest pro leagues they didnt get tested too much week in and week out, but they got bounced against the Voodoo in their conference championship game. I expect them to compete valiantly in WPL but they will come up short of the playoffs due to a grueling schedule, although I do expect them to win against their opponent in week 1. They will finish 7-9 and be disappointed in their returning to OPL.


please shut up the world league dissing on Oceania teams

Potentially the biggest reason I think that OPL gets a bad rap is the rate in which people from this region gut or sell there teams, how many teams did we have this past season alone disappear? 3 or 4? It's like that every season in just about every league in the Oceania Region. Don't get me wrong though, I'm sure it's like that in every region, I wouldn't know because I'm in OPL, i'm not in 'almighty USA' or the Super Powered CPL or some other region like that, I'm in OPL, the lowly Oceania Region.

And more importantly, I'm damn proud of it!

I'm not going to lie: Bonn would be an EPIC victory for the Voodoo.

I don't know that it's an insult to be rated as one of the top 10 teams in the entire game even if you are ranked 10th. My only hope is that we can do better than expected to help bring a modicum of respectability to the OPL and finally wake some people up. I won't be holding my breath but that is my sincere hope.

Didn't know you guys were keeping tabs....BDC looked better in preseason #3, but we've got a tough road ahead. Going to need some breaks.

Nottingham Hoods vs. Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets L 16-21
Mata Utu Voodoo vs. Bonn Dynamo L 27-31
Berlin Devine Right vs. Doinitin Djibouti L 3-96

1-3. Not a great start but Voodoo and Nottingham kept it close. Bonn is actually one of the teams predicted to make the first World League Superbowl so if they really are that good, Voodoo can beat them. We actually had the lead in the 4th Quarter before a fluke play put 7 on the board. It was disheartening but everyone expected us to get blown out so it looked like a good effort.

The VooDoo and the Hoods did great...... SoCal was amazing..... BDR will regroup I am sure...

I was told Bonn isn't all that great. but, still good job by MUV.

lol... Bonn was the #2 team in all of GLB last season and the only team to beat the Cincinnati Shockers

seriously, I have no idea. I don't pay attention to other leagues. if Bonn really is that good, then great job by MUV.
