Soap, to be clear and 100% honest, I was not expecting the vote to be this far in favor of the WPL.

With that said, my plan regardless was and still is to combine all the votes at the end of day 38 (tomorrow) and make a thread stating the results in the main GLB forum. That is still my plan, and by the looks of it, it will be one more thread that's for the World League, which helps your cause and help force Borts hand (if its not already set).

Again like I said for season after season, it is great you guys all network, and I have accepted that I am the minority on networking.....But I joined GLB for 1 reason to have my team be number 1.....Now I have not done that yet, but it makes me sick seeing owners gm 7 other pro teams, that is why I have always been in favor of 1 WPL.......It will stop all of the IMO collusion.....So I am lovin it.

I can honestly say I can't name one HB, WR or QB playing in a league in which I'm not competing. That goes for the supposed best league in GLB as well. I will, as possibly most of GLB, know the names of the MVP's in the World League. That in it's self makes it interesting and gives us all something to shoot for. Enough of this artificial fame number.

I'm kinda conflicted on this one. I do want the WPL, but if it's going to be as screwed up as things like VAs have been since they were added, then I'd rather wait. I also think it's weird timing with decline coming up for most pro league teams.

Yeah but maybe this is a 2nd gen move. Run it up the flagpole w/the 1st gens, let shit work itself out, see how it goes for 2nd gen so that, by then, the right people will be at the top.

Ah why not. World league shakes things up.

Skips all the scrimmage tournaments and excuses like "its just a scrimmage, we were busy planning for playoffs".

Now USAPL and CPL will know how it feels to get told "oh, i like your team, but you're not WPL", just like rest of the pro leagues have been told that "oh, you're not USAPL/CPL" every season. Non USAPL/CPL teams are used to being told that they're in 2nd choice leagues. Balances the pro leagues imo.

Maybe with LOL and DD no longer here, Cairo can step up from always fighting for 8th spot.

Fwiw, I planned to bring all my results together from the 8 regions and post them on the main forums. It appears however that bort has made a bigger and more efficient actual poll, making mine obsolute.
