If we would have went for a TD and scored then the halftime score would have been 17-14. I don't know how morale is handled based on scoring a TD over a FG, but I figured that might have factored in. Also the AI tends to change your gameplan the further you fall behind.

I didn't have anything bad to say about your team. It was focused towards the coding of the game. Like I said before, good luck with the rest of the playoffs.

It's obvious a real coach would have tried to pass for a TD before trying the FG, so yes the coding needs work. We lost earlier in the season because of a similar boneheaded call by the AI.

I said nothing bad about your team, nor did I think you said anything bad about ours.

Now I shouldn't have to spell it out for you, but you had 47 offensive plays to our 88. It's hard to believe you think being down 3 at halftime instead of 7 would have made that much of a difference to the outcome. But whatever makes you feel better.

We had a similar situation in the Lizard Lickers / Fury game. Our best drive came going into the first half. Since the ability to get out of bounds doesn't exist, we had to settle for a FG on 1st and G. In the our final drive, we were within FG range for a tie.

Its the way it is though...and everyone is in the same boat. Hopefully they are able to make more logic tweaks to fix these type problems.

Yeah I've definitely seen many instances where things like that have happened in various leagues. Some teams have had it happen on the final drive of the game and I'm sure that was very frustrating for them. Bort and DD have done a good job with the game and I'm sure they have had some sleepless nights on many occasions. I just wish they would tweak the actual gameplay code before adding new functions like Chemistry.

Well, I appreciate the picks for Memphis to win the East, but with Driftless waiting to boost until right before the playoffs, which I predicted they would do after the first game of the season in our team forum, we will most likely not make it out of the second round. It looks like we are simply outmatched at every position now, and their team defense's speed looks ridiculous. I mean does everyone on D now have 60+ speed Nilla? Yikes

And Kevin, you are comparing apples to oranges there in my opinion. Besides, there is plenty of bad blood between our team and San Fran so I'm not surprised this got started.

Stop acting like children and let this thread get back on track. I've edited my previous posts to take out all the negative statements so people don't have to look at them and make comments that have nothing to do with anyone but our team and San Fran.

These SanFran guys really get off on the whole 'GLB Drama scene'. Shame.

He's obviously got issues because:
a) He can't read or
b) He convinces himself of a false reality

Either or, not very attractive traits if you ask me....Definately the right team if your....well, you know.

Well, I can certainly sympathize with some of the Demolition insofar as the play calls the AI makes. Maybe a TD at the end of the first half would have changed things. And that was certainly horrible to throw a pass over the middle to the tune of 40 seconds before kicking a field goal on second down.

But I really don't see why you have to go after Warpriest. His point was, I think, that in the end it wasn't close. Now maybe the effects of morale are such that the bad play call was instrumental, but I doubt it.

And quite frankly, after going after us on the forums after your first loss and now again after the second, I don't see how we're the ones who are displaying unattractive traits. If you don't want us coming back at you please bitch and moan about us on your team forum.


Edit: And if you've actually edited out the particularly negative comments, then this all goes doubly so. I don't mind having a rivalry, particularly since I doubt there's much of a chance we'll be getting promoted this season, but it seems like you guys take this all so personally and its always a self-righteous rant about how immature we are.
