Easy there man. You beat us 47-0... we had locked a 6th seeding and were experimenting. Congrats man, you beat an experiment. Now based on your team you probably would have beat us anyways but I gaurantee it would have been much closer had we gameplanned you like it was a game that meant something. Get off your high horse pal.

1st off, we didnt game plan either, we were locked up as well and just played the game. We were surprised by the score as well. CBO isnt intending to disrespect you and your team btw, sometimes sarcasm is hard to smell out through text. You are right, you can do better against us, but realize we could do better against you too if we game planned for you. GL to you guys.

Well its all come down to this folks, 16 teams started this season looking repeat former wrongs, looking to redo last season. For 12 of those teams the season is over early. For the rest its just starting.

West Semifinals

Tallahassee Seminoles (15-1-0 1st) vs. Houston Orangebloods (12-4-0 5th)

After a somewhat unexpected close win over Death, Tallahassee needs to climb back onto of the momentum they gained from a great regular season. They must find a way to capitalize on this great team. Only gaining 267 total yards of offense last week, this must be resolved. It would be a shame for them to get this far and fall apart. Its important for them to have a better rushing attack, picking up 95 rushing yards on the eighth seed is unacceptable for a team of this caliber. The defense also had an off game giving up three field goals and a late touchdown after along drive in the fourth. Nows the last chance for Tallahassee to come out strong to erase the fear of a collapse, no second chances in the play offs.

Houston pulled off the overstated upset over Omaha. They now look ready and willing to crush the Seminoles fans desire for the title that escaped them last season. They like Tallahassee were unable to get the rushing attack working for them last game gaining less than 60 yards on the ground. This must be corrected if they expect to get a lead and hold it for any length of time. The key to beating a team like Tallahassee is keeping the defense on the field and offense watching. One strong note from the Omaha game was the Orangeblood defense only giving up six points. They shut down the rushing attack of Omaha and managed to keep the passing to a minimum. Nows the time to tie it all together and come out and work, keep it simple, establish the run and play shut down defense.

20-17 Tallahassee

Caribbean Sphere (14-2-0 2nd) vs. Texas Roughnecks (10-6-0 6th)

Sphere met the expectations for the first round, but that was then, this is now. Second round was Spheres undoing last season and it’s a trend they wish to correct this year. They had a strong outing in round one gaining 160 yards on the ground, they same can’t be said for the lack luster passing 18/25 for 126 yards. Sphere still needs to find a away to convert those third and fives without expecting Iowa to get the job done on every down. To have a clean game they must not turn the ball over and the defense must show up like they did in round one. Picking up two interceptions last game why holding the strong passing attack of the Horns to just over 150 yards. They will need more of the same to conquer the Roughnecks.

What a game for the ages Texas won. A classic defense struggle the likes not seen in the playoffs in the history of the USA A#1. Coming off that game should give them a lot to look forward to entering the second round. Its important to note that why they did grind it out with MB the offense was still very productive, they just proved unable to finish the drives. Picking up just under 300 total yards on offense its clear the Roughnecks can move the ball when they need to. Whats also clear is the number of fumbles and picks must go away if they wish to keep moving down the bracket. The Texas defense of course had a good game, forcing a shut out to a strongly favored MB team. Roughnecks need to find a way to reduce the wasted drives why still finding a way to score quickly over a grindtastic Sphere team.
