Limas Sweed fan.
Not a Texas fan.
His ball dropping this year was the Longhorn that was still in him. in 09, he'll be a full-fledged Steeler, and that shit will pass.
Edit:
Gator/USC fan (won't be a Gator fan in a few years... was a Percy fan because of proximity and the fact I've seen him play in HS)
Percy was a beast in high school...still remember him leapfrogging a guy and then running for the TD
Despite what everyone's said about him in the media (Percy world and that he's an angry guy), our team played his team in the state ship and EVERY person that talked to him told me that he was a really, really nice guy. Landstown had another 'big' guy going to a d1 college too (I forget his name) and he was supposedly a real asshole. Luckily that dude didn't do shit in college.
If you know about Percy, I'm guessing you know about Eddie Royal and Evan Royster too then? They both played at Westfield (the team that won the ship [went undefeated] with little Glennon a year before last).
I'm from that area, and I'm loving the pros coming out of Virginia. I love how I even know most of them and have hung out with, in some way, 3 or 4 of them. Scottie Reynolds, Evan Royster, Eddie Royal, Percy (never met him, I was too young at the time to be on the varsity team that played his), and a few prospects that very well may get into the NFL. Also, Glennon's little bro is sicknasty. He was like a top QB prospect coming out of highschool or something (dunno the exact number but he went to all of those competitions and shit) and he goes to NC State. He redshirted.
Yeah, you got me on a rant. Mistake.
Edit: Oh, and EVERY game that our defense played badly, the coach said "you know a couple of years ago, we had no problem covering Percy and look at what he's doing." I'm glad I played WR.
Yeah i graduated from Phoebus a few years back so i know of all the local guys that are doing good in the pros now. I went to elementary school with Tyrod Taylor.. so it is really cool to see people you know doing good in college or the pro's.. Like Adibi, i remember him and my cousin being friends and hanging out with the two of them when i was in middle school i felt like such a cool kid...
