One net effect of this change is that MORE slow build teams will dominate. A rag-tag team of low 30's just can't compete with a decent slow build team of the same level.

That said, I think it's probably a better change for the game. I agree with the sentiment that it should be capped all the way to the pros. GLB is more fun when every game is a challenge... plebeians may think they want to just dominate every game 255-0, but that's boring as hell... and they'll quit with some innane comment like "ah I just got bored" or "that game is stupid".

Meanwhile, teams that barely make the playoffs fighting and scraping the whole way are addicted.

Alpha conf in this league is a great example. The top 8 teams are all very close, as is evidenced by the playoff scores. A whole league where ALL the teams are close like that is going to be very, very challenging.

I do predict more slow build teams as a result of this though.

Just please make sure they end up in another league. One league can only handle so much MCRG.

hahha, Sad to see the shuffling of the leagues are going to pretty much destroy this league. You guys have been very good about dealing with the MCRG shit talking, and its appreciated. hopefully after this shuffle the rest of our boys dont get banned due to cry babies reporting them to mods.

I can honestly say that I will miss all of you colorful guys at MCRG! I had my run-ins earlier and when I finally realized what was going on and that you guys treat everyone the same way my whole view of it changed. LOL! I really wish you luck and you guys will be very tough here pretty soon! I will also miss the rest of the teams in this league! We have come to know each other over the last few seasons and it sure was a pleasure playing against you guys! Along with this shuffle, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that the Nomads will be starting over! We have in no way gotten to where I thought we would and I take full blame for all of it! I had no clue what I was doing when I first started and made some very poor decisions building players and managing the team and that cost us dearly! I feel like I have learned a lot through this process and will continue to learn! We have some very good guys who are willing to stick around and help us rebuild and I am thankful for that! Hopefully we will see some of you in the future and thanks to all of you!
