Yep. That's the same reason I hate Prague, Kev and the other teams we lost to. I'm just envious they beat us. I'm just an inferior crybaby.

You've probably misinterpreted what I typed there. I edited my original post to better reflect what I've tried to express. Go take a look.

I've never said that Prague is a top tier team. Just because it said

doesn't mean that you guys aren't top tier. Not sure if the enter/return spaces appeared on your computer/browser but it was clear there was separation between the different teams I believed were at the top.

As for Prague being on the same level as Stalingrad and Lafayette, no, I do not think so. You guys are a tad bit below them. Here's why.

Alpha has the stacked conference, with 10 of the 16 teams having a shot at the championship. Our conference is very competitive and really could go either way.

At Zeta, their conference is fairly average. However, Stalingrad, Lafayette, Krakow, and probably even Windy City could take on Prague, Barger Hill, Amsterdam etc. and win, with no problem.

Alpha may have eight or nine really great teams, but Zeta has two, maybe three or four teams that could easily beat any of the top-ranked Alpha teams.

I predicted it earlier in the season, Barger Hill would lose to Lafayette in Week 16. If somehow BHB can prove me wrong, then I'll back up and say that I was wrong.

But at this point, I see no need to apologize for putting Prague a step behind Stalingrad and Lafayette. Prague is a top tier team, the best in Alpha, no doubts about it, but I don't think ANY of the Alpha teams could hang with Zeta's best.

Hey Saw, Thanks again for all you do. I have a legit question, wasent the reason for the SOS4 so early in the season we could get a read on teams that had played different schedules? it would seem we all have played the same teams now except one, and was wondering if your final ranking would still include the SOS4since everyone would of played everyone after next game.

IMO SoS4 is still something that teams can still be measured by. The whole point of SoS4 is to see how well a team has been doing in their past four games. You might have a point for SoS (the entire season), but SoS4 still has a lot of relevance.

Cherrie brought it up in a post on the previous page. You could be a 10-6 team at the end of the season and still suck balls if you lost four straight with an SoS of 0.55. Or you could be a 7-9 team, SoS at 2.5, and if you came out 2-2 out of that difficult four-game stretch then that should be recognized. The 7-9 team would probably beat the 10-6 easily.

There are teams out there that are still slumping. ATL, DXP, SAM... these are teams that everyone expected to do great this year, yet we see them faltering even in the latter half of the season where some of them have already played against the best teams in their respective conferences. This is why I think SoS4 is still important.

SoS4 will be used in calcuating the end of regular season rankings. For the end of Season 2 rankings, SoS4 will not be a factor in determining the top teams.

I agree with most of what Sawedust said. We have a lot of high quality talent in Alpha while Zeta has three or four elite teams with the rest settling in at mediocrity. Comparing the two are hard as schedules between the two conferences vary so much.

I don't think it'd be that easy of a matchup facing the top teams against each other, assuming you did it right. LRC-BHB would be very interesting, as BHBs defense would stop a slowing LRC offense. SGA/LRC-PRA would actually be a blowout, honestly. Prague's offense wouldn't be nearly good enough in those situations. Pra has kept up with the Alpha teams, but Zeta has some very potent offenses. ADD-SGA could be an interesting game, the levels are similar and ADD has active people good at tactics. I fully expect SGA to lose a game no one expects in the playoffs. I don't know what it is yet, but my gut is telling me they won't make it beyond game two. If I'm wrong, so be it. Congrats to SGA for proving me wrong...again

I said all of that without including my own team as I don't know where we fit yet. If we beat ADD soundly, I fully expect to be able to claim "elite status" and be able to move up in that ladder sawedust posted. Beat BHB, lost to Prague by a minimal score and beat ADD? I don't see how it would be possible to keep us in fifth there or on a sub tier to the aforementioned teams. Prague's defense is impressive, it's offense is not. If forced to keep up, I doubt it could. It's just that most teams have not forced Prague to keep up due to their defense. The Zeta teams could.

Proving you wrong is our pleasure. We have a large target on our back, but know news there. We are battle tested on the road and, at home. We look forward to every game. Our generals are game planning non-stop around the clock for the baggers, or whoever we face. The play-offs will be no different.

The ranking for this week at first pissed me off. But after reading posts and, angles,it is what it is. The final two games will tell the tail. Then the war for the title starts. Just plan on a battle when You enter the WAR MEMORIAL COLISEUM. Or if the powers be we come to your town, plan on getting "your shit pushed in" AMERICAN ME" GREAT MOVIE.
Nonetheless, its time to put up or shut up!!!
