The best "overall" OL unit is the Dubrovnik Destroyers, giving up just 8 total hurries and 3 sacks allowed. Tenerife Thunderbirds and the Dogdandy Dragons have given up the least sacks with 2 each, but the Thunderbirds had 16 hurries to Dragons' 15. Overall, the Destroyers have the best OL and I honestly believe their entire OL should be considered "All-Pro."

Rating and nominating OL on pure pancakes is stupid.

From what I've gathered, I ranked all the EE AAA #1's OL. You can take these rankings for what they're worth. But IMHO, you should grab the best OL from the best OL's from the EE AAA #1.

A couple things:

1. Thanks for compiling that information, helps a lot. I would have done something like that, but the ballot was enough work as it is.
2. Still, I think that voting the entire offensive line of one team in because of the team stats is a little silly - especially when the margin between Dubrovnik and the other teams is so slim.
3. That doesn't take into account run blocking. And pancakes aren't a bad indicator of that.

I think next year we should try to take into account sacks allowed and lead blocks on runs longer than 10 yards or so. SOmething to that extent.

It would take some work, but I would be willing to contribute for the Tallinn Dream and all the games that the Tallinn Dream play (including their opponents). I watch all the sims so a breakdown wouldn't be hard. Just have to start it next year.

Use YPC, TFL and total yards for that as well. Pancakes count for something, but not anything major. We ran into the same issue recently in AAA#2.

Our OL may be the best in AAA#2 and it's pancake count is lower than others, but that doesn't mean it's worse. It's given up one sack during my entire ownership from the middle of last season and has always allowed us to have a solid running game (statistically third but effectiveness wise...probably first or second).

646 pass attempts by the Dubrovnik, and only 8 hurries and 3 sacks? That's crazy. You can also add into the account on how many pass/rush attempts a certain offense has, to include the hurries and sacks allowed. 624 rush attempts.

Dogdandy, 618 pass attempts. 447 rush attempts.
Tenerife, 502 pass attempts. 665 rush attempts.

I can go on, of course. But you can use the total # of offensive plays with the pass/rush attempts included, and also use that as value. It's obviously clear that Dubrovnik begins to separate themselves from the pack.

Sure, but I'd still prefer to treat offensive linemen as individuals, seeing as we do that for every other position.

well, not as a whole unit, but when you pick your individual lineman, that it should come from the top best lines, imho.

These numers are way off becuase you are figuring the stats of my back up QB from before he joined our club. We are actually at 16 and 10 not 27 and 16.
