Winning is always great! And im sure they pay out a shit load of money for top 5 finish. But 700k in a season so far and hes struggling just a bit? Id take that any fucking day. Not to mention I think golf is one of the toughest sports to play.

He is currently at $252,123 for the 2009 season in winnings. That doesn't count any endorsement money of course, just tournament winnings. Maybe you were counting endorsements also.

Golf is definitely one of the toughest sports. Last week at THE PLAYERS the temp was in the 90s most of the time. Couple that with being in the open sun with not much shade, walking the entire course for 4 days (approx. 5 miles), and having to swing a club around for 18 holes a day (approx. 4 hours without a delay), yeah it get's pretty tough sometimes.

Yeah, my bad. Career earnings. He's made most of it on the Nationwide tour. That's how he got his PGA card this year. Top 25 in earnings on the Nationwide. He has an endorsement right now from TaylorMade. Something like 350k if he wears all their gear for the season. Dude is a stud. He plays his best golf in the summer months anyways. He's not even 25 yet so he's got plenty of time ahead of him. I've never seen a 5'8 dude hit the shit outta the ball like he does.
His dad was my golf coach there for a while. Spencer would have made the tour a lot sooner if he wasn't such a party animal at UCLA. He got the boot from there and went and played for NMU. He's got his shit together now though.

Well hopefully he pulls it together and does good at The HP Byron Nelson Championship. He still has a few more tournaments before the US Open.

Ill man up. I played golf yesterday for the 1st time in probably 2 years. I shot a 102 haha. My drives were amazing...but my short game from maybe 100 yds in was just piss poor i wanted to break my clubs. But the good part is I moved behind a golf course and can just hop the fence and play from hole 3 on!

haha thats sweet. I wish I lived on a golf course. I actually played yesterday too. Shot an 86. It was so bad. My swing felt like an unfolded lawn chair. Probably didn't help that I drank 3 tall boys at 9am in the morning without a breakfast in the belly

Lol its was only sweet to finally get back out and start playing. Other then that it was a bad day but still had fun doin it. 3 tall boys what is that? 9am with no breakfast thats a true champion right there.

The best part is.. I shot 45 on the front, the 3 tallboys were finished at the turn and I played better on the back with a 41. Not great, but I'll take it
