I get so tired of the rambling between SV and the LOL crew, it would be different if it was shit talking but it's nothing more than women bitching at each other in a Beauty shop.

I would imagine so, he already has the inputs for them and this will be our 5th game so it would make sense.

Huge game today between DD and TLGoT. Really looking forward to this one as I suspect both teams will hold nothing back.

I'd be fine with either prediction for SISW as we need to catch back up to Dar es if we hope to get a top seed and get some home playoff games.

In all seriousness - this equipment situation is brutal. We started out in Pro as a team that was really under-leveled. We never had a chance to stomp our way through the lower levels and rack up fan support and loads of home playoff games. I scrambled each off-season to trade a bunch of my players away for cash just to try keep up financially. We had to rebuild after two seasons - scratch the playoffs that season. Now that we've got our act together there's no way we can catch up financially. We need 2-3 home playoff games each season just stay within 20 - 30 million of some teams that won't even make the playoffs. There's no way we'll ever catch up with the winning teams across the board at the Pro level. If we didn't have 100% of our players returning every season we'd be screwed. Seriously, what's the incentive to winning now? Why not pack it up and slow build? The only thing keeping us from doing it is a collective sense of pride, loyalty, and the chance of working our way to the top against very long odds.
Yeah. I'm taking some pride in what we're doing. That's part of my point. But the bigger point is that I'd appreciate it if GLB found a way to give an incentive to keeping a team together and fighting its way to the top over the long haul.

I hear ya Shalubis... if we wouldn't have won last season, the Rhinos really could have went bankrupt.
Team money is something Bort is just ignoring imo...

I hear ya man, we’re in the same boat. We were also one of the original APL teams & now the equipment has really caught up with us.
The fact that we have only had home playoff games back in season 4 (with a MUCH smaller stadium at the time) sure doesn’t help us either. If it weren’t for some GREAT guys on the team that have stuck with me & been patient with their upgrades, I would have been forced to start over a long time ago. Most of our roster is either at level 56 now or will be before the season is over & I’m still trying to catch up on level 48 gear.
The financial system here is definitely flawed & the sad thing is that it will FORCE teams to either give up & sell, or move down & start over. I don’t want to do either, but I’m sure there will come a point when we can’t stay competitive because I can’t afford to give out all the upgrade cash our guys need. I will ride this ship until it sinks, but with the way the finances are going, I don’t know how long I can keep it together.

So in Lion conference that's SISW, ASM, DeS (there may be more) all who must get 2 home games just to stay only 1 or 2 steps behind most of the other teams in Pro. The Rhinos get a reprieve b/c of last season. Basically, we're in the Rhino's shoes. We have to win 14-15 games in the regular season and then make it to the conf. championship to have a chance of staying afloat. It really kinda sucks that good, stable teams are in this position. It can't be good for GLB in the long run to put the squeeze on some of their best organizations.
